Winter has arrived! Brrrr. Supposed to warm up a bit each day.

bitterly cold. The TV news had a picture of a plane landing? at Logan airport looking like it was doing wheelies in the wind. glad that I was not a passenger.
Yes it has, as I am in Vt with dulcet tone of the snow blowing going in the background, as Dh is out cleaning up the drive. We paid a guy to come down and clear a parking space for us the other night after the snow or we would have no place to park when we got up here late last night for a few days. DH is out there doing the rest of it now. Beautiful clear sunny day. Dogs are in heaven with the snow frolic they are having.
We are going to kick tires today to replace our Honda van with maybe a Toyota van as the Toyota has AWD which the Honda does not, nor do any other brands have AWD. Our only complaint about the Honda is that it is useless in the snow. When I was up here more than not a few years back, I had a small CRV which was great in the snow, but I moved that car to Nantucket to replace my ancient Jeep. I want to get another van so I have room to haul plants around. Always about the plants.

It was a bit nicer today, the pups got their walk. Had to take the truck out early this morning--it stays outside---but it started right up---I had mittens on, but by the time I hit town, my fingers were numb---did I say I hate this weather?

Four-wheel drive, I assume. When my wife's lease comes due in Sep, I am looking into a Subaru.
Oh yes Sir, will not live in Maine without one!! My SIL got a new Toyota Matrix last year and still says the Subaru is the best car she has ever driven in the snow.
Icy most of today---temp at 32----plenty of warning for this storm, but when I went to a dinner, roads were slick! I have 4wheel drive, but that's no help on ice!

It is snowing heavy now, very wet snow, our new metal roof is making slide off it "thumps" . Poor dogs aren't quite used to it yet. ^_^
