"...no stockings, with a short skirt(dress) couldn't see the whole thing..." Forgive me for reading that in a different way!
Glad you gad a good time, Jen.
Yes, it's not cool for kids to wear warm clothes. My neighbors' 13 yr old daughter just wears a sweatshirt in this weather. She shivers, but I guess that's okay.
All I want for Christmas....
When DH taught at a boys' school the kids figured they were all right if they had a long school scarf wrapped around their necks. No coats or jackets. they had to wear sport coats to class. tsk tsk
just got a call and my granite lanterns will be delivered Monday - i hope - lady says frieght collect - i said no i already paid frieght up front - asked how much? $120 more than i already paid! - she will get back to me - they also had the wrong address - would have recieved them today - guess i have a neighbor that got pretty rude with them because she had left numerous calls at his house:)
will have to inspect them closely - this frieght company seems to be a moe/larry/curly operation.
Uh oh. And please don't insult the stooges! They're among my heroes.
well they just called back and now i have to wait until Tuesday
that's true, the high school kids are not cool if they wear coats...silly in the Northeast, no? I'm glad when I was in school coats scarves & mittens were cool.
The Stooges are funny. Wouldn't want them to move my stuff though!
Funny if you are older perhaps. I don't think that slapstick good for younger kids. Wouldn't let mine watch as I didn't want them to see people hitting others, then everyone laughing about it.
But it's funny!!! 14 year old DS loves them. He doesn't hit anyone.
people need to know what is meant to be funny and what is REAL - this country has a problem with this.
I question what is REAL every day. Usually it turns out to be one of those soul searching moments. Funny is always funny, but I know not to hurt other people. Don't need church for that.
...gee, I'm feeling yakky. Must be the hour.
Very true, Bill.
I always go for those Pixar movies, I like those a lot! Most everything else is too much reality,
I don't go to the movies to see reality!! I go to 'escape', to take a 'breather'.
Reality I can see anytime! lol!
Funny WC2. I understand entirely.
So true Sherry.
Most kids make good decisions if they have good role models----I watched some violent cartoons---Tom & Jerry comes to mind---but I'd never dream of emulating them!
I watched road runner, but where do you find an anvil, anyway? *grin*
At the anvil store, silly! ;-)
it was too far on my trike ;)
Not the Anvil store, Coyote gets all his stuff from Acme. Love, love, love those old cartoons.
Oh yeah, how could I forget!

Loved all the old cartoons. Bugs was my favorite and was a great inspiration.
I love the Bugs with the Martian with the broom on his head....why can't you on demand those? Or how about Barney Miller.
Love Barney Miller! One of my all-time faves. Some are on dvd. Some are on hulu.com.

This is a hilarious Christmas episode of Frasier.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yo-wjTQuKVI
Frasier was one of my favorite shows
Mine too.
Did you see the one that was labelled the funniest first 30(?) seconds of a comedy?
Niles was ironing and then hurt his finger and he kept passing out from the site of the blood. It was hysterical!
i am serious - if you ever watch green acres watch the actors like the guy who was the mailman - i read that everything was add lib - really funny stuff if you forget the show and watch what the acting - the dialog was so fast - robin williams before robin williams .
I thought I was the only person who loves Frasier??
Yes, I remember that one, Jen! Very funny. Classic slapstick. I love the one when they were on the cruise. Also, the one when they spent the weekend at the ski lodge.
