going to start our tree trimming now - hate those bashful ornaments that will not face forward
what type of tree do you put up?
Thanks, Polly---curtains are from Penney's. Our house is colonial, so I thought they fit in pretty well. Weeze---that's a beauty of a tree!
I'll try to get some pics now that the tree is done. Kids ended up not helping! Did it all myself.
Thanks Robin! Victor, it took me 4 years to {persuade} Jack to help me decorate the tree. I think the tree is for the enjoyment of the family, so the family should participate in the decorating. If you were frustrated, I know why!
Watched UP today....Made me laugh and made me cry....Squirrel !!!
I agree, Weeze. On the other hand, without the kids, it ends up looking better!
I loved UP!
did "our" tree myself as well - not the best xmass tree we have gotten though
Well, I gave in and put the fake one up with hubby sick who the heck knows when we're going to get a real one and it's less than 2 weeks to go.
It came out REALLY good, I did 70% of it by myself.
I'll take some pics later, now we're watching Muppet Christmas Carol.
I love that movie!
More pics please! I'm living vicariously through you all with trees.
Squirrel!!!
Very pretty Jen!!
Pretty, Jen, and look how straight you got that star! Great job!
Very nice---and love anything Muppets!
Beautiful Jen!!!
Beautiful Jen!
good job Jen.. it looks great
Very nice, Jen.
Thanks
We got a tree for Vt. on Sat night. Maybe 6' and I am not sure what it is as DH got it in the dark. He had a mini flash light. I was in the farm stand buying bulbs, not light bulbs, but flowing bulbs. When I got done it was being tied onto the roof of the van. It looked fat, but DH took it and buried it in a snow bank behind the house that night until next week when we go back to Vt. We left early in the morning so I never saw it in the light. I will let you know what we got! Could be a total Charlie Brown!
Nice tree Jen, hope ours is as nicely shaped. Patti
Very pretty Jen!
Patti your tree sounds like mine, DH came home with one and said, it not very tall but it's fat! As long as it's taller and rounder than me.... it's fine. ^_^
That would be a two year old seedling, Pix. I think my transplants are larger than you when I plant them.
I finally picked mine out and it's a shortie with multiple leaders. I can't decide which leader to prune off, so they all might stay. It's a fattie too. I normally pick out a taller one. My husband was very happy. Easy to wrestle in the house.
That's a priority for me!
I have a Brett Favre ornament from 'yesteryear'. May leave it in the box.
yep He can lose to those now.
DD in eastern WA would love the boats. We have sent her sailboat but had to do scatter rug to get the canoe a couple yrs. ago
