Hi everyone good morning/afternoon....I'm just back from having a swim at local pool with friends.It's 12.40,here,so been up a while.Raining here today ,but still strangely warm for time of year.

Foggy Holler here this morning...grin supposed to get up around 73 today. Gotta take Jordan to get his learner's license today.....wow. That is a scary thought....seems like he was on a hot wheel just a few months ago....my how time flies....

Dixie, glad you are feeling better. Smiley, sounds strange, but a couple drops of alcohol in each ear will help get rid of a scratchy throat. My ear is just about clear...no pain, ringing or echo-ing...alcohol each AM and PM, aspirin and decongestant...all give the old white cells an extra boost....grin
Lynnie, they are gonna wring every bit they can from you before you take off....take care of yourself.

Good morning Moon and Joy. Glad to hear the ear is better dear! That's the best rhyme I can do for this a.m. It's nasty weather over here. We had one night and day of pouring rain,and now it's gloomy grey and misting rain. Sure hope it clears up by T.G. Have fun with G.S. Moon. Now he will want to be driving every where! Think of it this way you'll have a chauffeur!

I have thought of that everyway from Sunday, Dixie...grin His Dad has promised to teach him to drive, then Jordan will take the Driver's ed course required before getting his license at 16...unless the state follows through on their plan to raise the license age to 17....Jordan will have a stroke if he has to have one of us with him in the car until he turns 17....I on the otherhand think it is a good idea....too many babies getting hurt or killed from youthful inexperience. Seems every year 2 or 3 local kids are hurt or worse from driving with ipods and cell phones. My list of car don'ts will be a mile long I am sure....grin

I agree with ya on that Moon. It can be a scary thing. When the young ones start driving. I know when my children started driving I would worry my self sick. And preach safety to them until they were sick of hearing it. If ya got a crow bar you can come pry me outta this chair I still haven't moved! Grin,I gotta get motivated.

You are welcome Smiley. It really does work. DH and GS use swim-ear everyday (we mix our own cuz it is so much cheaper) but I can only use it once a week....have ear issues...grin...but it dries out any water trapped from shower/hairwashing and kills bacteria. Neither of them have had an earache in years, or sore throat for that matter.

My My My such busy girls!!! I'm off too, got house to do and store trip in time to get Grandkids tonight, then more Co. from daughter and boys from Tn tomorrow then cook cook cook. Food still jetting south so gonna try blackberry juice today, mom swore by it. Hi everyone.....Moon,I went swimming indoors,in a heated pool.Think some outdoor pools are still open here in winter,but are well heated,there arn't any arond where I live though.
On the subject of driving licences,my elder son Sam 17,passed his driving test just last thurs,19th.You cannot start learning to drive here until 17 years old.Don't know how i'll feel exactly,when he first goes out alone driving.We can't afford to buy him a car and he's still at school,hoping to go to university next year so needs all his money from part -time job for that.
my husbands car belongs to the company he works for ,needed for his job.The insurance on it will cover Sam,only once he's 18,which is only feb 11th next year.
Flowers,Is the Queens castle you mentioned called Balmoral,in Scotland?If so,I believe it's where Royal Family all spend Christmas and New Year holidays too,as well as summer ones.I've only ever seen it in pictures ,never for real.
