I will just have to get me one.. I have a spot over the kitchen sink in the window well that it can hang from..
Dorthea last Flush
They are some tough plats. But those sure are
pretty, Elizabeth.
Charleen
Debra
that one is in the basement, my windows aren't right for growing them, they do great under lights, I leave them out all summer, in the shade, then they bloom for me
Elizabeth
Charlene
it always amazes me how a lot of plants are tough, I have a 6ft catcus, that I sit in a dark spot in the house give it maybe a cup of water all winter, it does just fine
Elizabeth
Elizabeth, did you see my bog garden I made?
I've put in two now.
Charleen
Charlene
I did see it, it's neat, I had a small pond, using a 35gal pot with no drainage, everything I put in there someone wanted to buy when I had my plant sales, so I gave up on it, pull the pond liner out & filled it in, yours looks really nice
hard work paying off
Elizabeth
I want to pl;at those black EE in back of it
next year. It is going to be so pretty.
Charleen
Charlene
it sounds like it, would you believe, I have lived here for 4yrs, & the city decides we need new sidewalks, I have all those nice evergreens out there, I just know they will tear them up, when they redo the sidewalk, if they do I will have to redo all that I have out there even that nice mum, maybe I should do a black garden out there
Elizabeth
They will take some; if there is a sidewalk going thru.
Is your town growing? I guess it is good if they put it in.
gives you a reason to do a new garden, doesn't it?
Charleen
Elizabeth, what is the plant in the second pic? Very pretty blooms on all.
Dee
Is it a mandevilla, Elizabeth.
It looks like one to me.
Charleen
Charlene
when they resurface the streets, they redo sidewalks, doesn't matter if they need it or not, yes our town is growing, the only problem they attach it to your taxes, I had planned on redoing the plants out there anyway, I want to put a bradford pear out by the curb, you are so lucky to live on a farm, no city sidewalks
Elizabeth
Dee & Charlene
it is a madevilla
Elizabeth
Nope, no city streets. But we would have city water but we did not hook up to it.
We use our good old Country water.
Charleen
Elizabeth, are you getting the rain yet..It is supposed rain here til Thursday..
Dee
Dee
I have a harlot, blue agave, for you, I will put them in the box with patterns for you, to go out monday, is it raining where you are,? it is here & gloomy, but my basement has color in it

Dee

Dee
It is raining here too. Temp is 59 degrees has not been a bad day. Got some bulbs planted that
one of my gardening friends sent. Going to have so many seeds I don't know where I'm going to
put them. Poor DH will be tilling again???
He may balk and I'll have to do it myself.
Charleen
Charlene
I would half those acres tilled up, for a cutting garden, herb garden, veggi garden big pond etc etc etc, he's lucky you only want a few, oh & a big Brug bed
Elizabeth
It's 46 here charleen. You plenty of room for those seeds, just fix your hubby his favorite meal, a bat your eyelashes, and he'll be tilling in no time..lol
Dee
Girls

Elizabeth
And shaking his head. But he would do it if I asked.
The little brug is getting it's next set of leaves.
The ones outside are still blooming.
Charleen

Dee
Have you all had a frost yet? Elizabeth.

I'm learning new things, again...☺
Hey, girls , I'm gonna get off. I have one of my grandsons here, and he wants to get on and play games, before bed time. Talk to you tomorrow..Night girls
Dee
Night, DEE.
Have a good night.
Charleen
Charlene
it's getting new leaves, we have had at least 3 cold frost, I think because the cement from the sidewalk has helped keep it warm, I am going to cut it back & mulch it heavy, just to see if it makes it through the winter
Elizabeth
Night Dee
have a good evening
Elizabeth
Hi you all. Sorry I haven't been here a few days. Been very busy. I saw pictures of beautiful grandchildren and picturen os great garden to become. They are already getting structure. Next year you have a stunning garden Charleen!
And then those beautiful flowers. Mine are not flowering yet but the buds a comming out so it won't take too long. My plants aren't not so big yet.
Charleen they will root easily. If you see someone with such a plant ask for a little piece. Put it in soil and it wil root. O wait. I'll send you a litte piece of mine when I send seeds to you. LOL.
It still didn't freeze here. Only 2 days a little morning frost. But nothing bad. And I heard on the news that it looks like it isn't going to freeze for a month. Temperature is even becoming here this week 18 degrees celcius (64 Fahrenheit!!!)
I also have one brug to bring in. It is blooming now. And it is very light yellow. With big flowers.
Maybe this weekend when I have time left.
It has been nice here too. It is cloudy but the weather is so nice.
You have seen my bog garden yet? I enjoyed doing the step by step.
Next Spring I am going to put Brugs in a couple of the gardens.
I still have one blooming outside. It is in a pot but on south side of
house so it should make it thru the winter.
I am really looking forward to Spring.
It is always nice to hear from you, Jori.
Charleen
