Hi all. LOL Moon. About the parking lot in front of your bakery. How true. Have had the same experiences. Venice,Kitty is giving her self some good work out climbing the fence. Building her muscles. All of those chin ups,leg lifts etc. Grin Hi JJ's got your ice-cream ready. Enough pie to go around, here's your slice Moon. I actually bought two pies. I say some what sheepishly. Husband just looked at me and nodded his head and walked away. Grin
NO THYME, GOT GOT GOT NO THYME....
Lynnie,I love chicken pot pie! But the you know who's, will never be the ingredients to go in one. I'm saying this in a whisper. Grin
Oh youdie,whooooie,where is every one?
A wise woman always buys two of anything worth eating....lol
That's my way of thinking (2) Moon! As the hips baloon! Grin
Instead of walking 3 miles I'll have to run like the demons of hell are chasing me today!! Grin
Moon? Is every one gone? Just my luck. I may have to clean out the fridge. if, no one will talk to me. I don't want to do it. Pleeeese some body saaave me. Waaaa,Waaaa
I'll trade you (1) company bank reconciliation for (1) fridge cleaning.
Nawwww ,KEEP THE BANK. I'll take the fridge and be grateful. Grin
Don't like all of that matching and comparing figures. Major head ache. No fun in that at all!!
O.K. I give up for now. Fridge. cleaning awaits.
hey Moon you're singing my song...got got got got got no time no time
Too late Dixie, I'm done. Easy one this month, even with a snag.
Now I can get the rest of the general ledger balanced and close out October. Woo Hoo, I hate bookkeeping! (I actually like it when the books are off, makes it a little more challenging.)
Book keeping is not one of my best abilities. Have always hated math. Guess that will never change. I muddle through.
Hi Dave what pretty fruit. Did you grow it your self?
yum! what's everyone having for dinner?
We are having Salmon Coquettes,Asparagus, and baked Potatoes. You are welcome to come have dinner with us Lynnie. I even have more pie and ice-cream for desert.
That sounds good Dixie! What is Lynn having? Dave?
we're having oven fried chicken (like shake n bake but my own concoction) and summer squash & salad, and maybe some garlic cheesebread....
yours & dixie's dinner sounds yummy...nice when you don't have to cater to kids palates...
although mine will eat shrimp cocktail, and steamed artichokes...
Hi Smiley!
Pan fried Popo'ulu Banana, with Sesame oil & Cinnamon, for dessert!
Sounds good everyone.
I think we'll have leftover pot roast, potatoes, carrots & green beans.
How does Bok Choy taste in comparison to spinach? I love spinach - when I worked in a kitchen we used to take fresh spinach & saute it with mushrooms, some garlic, diced tomatoes, whatever we could find. It started as an accident - we had run out of whatever the veggie was that night. Turned into a regular on the menu.
What kind of citrus? We've seen lemons, that I remember, and tangerines, like you showed us above.
Oh gosh, Dave, that sounds good.
I know what you mean, Lynnie, about catering to kids' tastes. My son will try anything (almost), it's DH I have the problem with. He's so darned meat & potatoes. Finally got a nice chicken salad on the menu ~ all kinds of good things in it. If I say "pasta salad?" he says "with what?" Aargh! And of course the Girl won't eat anything that had a face. I just work around that.
He's also highly allergic to bananas, so that cuts out a fruit in the mix.
Bok Choy is a mild version of Mustard Greens, a little spicy but not real hot. A little garlic, sea salt, Balsamic vinegar, & Olive oil with a splash of water sautees the stuff up real tasty!
What kind of Citrus? That's a bit of mental flossing for me:
Lemons: Lisbon, Myer, & Variegated Pink Eureka.
Limes: Tahitian (Persian), Kiefer, Brees, & Key.
Oranges: Washington Navel , Lane Late Navel, Cara Cara Pink, Shamuti Tropical.
Tangerines: Dancy, Honey, Fremont.
Tangelos: Minneola & Orlando.
Tangors: Dweet & Temple (Royal Manderin).
Meiwa Kumquat & Bitter Orange.
Rootstock: Carizo & Cleopatra.
I was thinking we all should get together for a bigggg cook out. Better yet, lets all go to HI. and let Dave feed us. He almost has the addition done. What say Dave, does that sound like a plan? LOL
Of course Dixie! Don't forget to bring a good pair of gloves and work-boots.
The first step to making a good fruit salad is cleaning up the weeds around the tree, then picking the fruit, cleaning it, and preparing it for a meal.
hey Look I finally made it back to the land of living and trudge through a flood of dmail....yeah!
Don't mind working for my meal at all. It all looks so good. Gloves, boots,I'll even bring a shovel. Got a ladder? I'm just speaking for my self of course. But I'm sure you would have plenty of help from us all. Pack your bags girls were going to Dave's!!! LOL
Trina welcome, welcome!! Glad the tummy is better!!
Gosh, Trina! I would think at sometime your give and take would slow down!!! Glad you are feeling better and that you are back!
seeds I can trade all winter long Venice
Hi Trina, glad you're feeling better.
Hi Carol! Did you trim your Avo?
Hey V. whatcha doing this eve.?
Hi Trina, glad you're better!

I even bathed and everything for the occassion! LOL
I'm going to call it a night. Have to get things prepared for wok tomorrow. Have a wonderful night all! Trina, glad your back. You shouldn't try and eat the whole house at once save some for later. Nighty, nite every one.
