I am getting quite proficient at .............talking to air.

I'm a diabetic, I have a routine check-up every three months to check my A1C, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.

Hello, only got a minute then off to school to help GS with costume.

It is rainy here but 56.
DH left for work, I snuck off to town.
Bought a bunch of Halloween stuff on sale, thinking get home put it up and he won't know if I already had it or not.

Got home..thinking I am so smart.. and what do I see but his truck.
He met me as I was getting out of car to .. for once in a lifetime... see if I needed help carring anything.

BUSTED

He knows it is hopeless so just shakes his head and says "where do ya want it"

Aloha Dave! Thanks for giving my Gold Dust a name. I think I like the pattern on the leaves of my plant better than the 3 photos on DG. I can't wait until it fills out.
Hope all is well with you. With all the organic and nutritious food you eat, I think you would be extremely healthy.

Trina, did you see the name of the plant that Dave ID'd? I think you said that is one like you have. I snipped off all the yellow leaves on that vine. Also I have high hopes for the daylily because I don't have one like that. It is very gray and sprinkling outside. Without sun I don't feel an urgency to get my plants arranged quit like they should be.

JJ, my Kiwi Fern looks really puny compared to yours. Yours is so full and beautiful. I hope I can care for it and make it fill out like yours.

Dixie, do you have to dig up your begonias for the winter there? Hope you got all the poos settled down and happy.

Dixie, I posted a photo on 'Singing in the Rain' at 11:55AM. The begonia cuts are in water on my kitchen sink that has a light above it. They are happy plants.

Kassy, I missed your drunk pumpkins. Yuck! lol

JJ, you make me want to be a kid again and to have a cool costume like you make! It is a shame that we can't have a video of the exploding pumpkin or whatever it does. You don't happen to have a video camera so you can put it online, do you?

Moon, with all the rain you get down there, you still use a sprinkler? That photo confused me. Surely you get enough rain! lol Really, do you ever have a dry spell there?

It is 65 here today but overcast. The sunrise was beautiful this morning, almost crashed the car on the expressway! (It gets a little curvey)

Glad you survived the sun rise.....please wear your sunglasses home......grin

I get to go east in the morning and west in the evening. How lucky is that?

I almost crashed because of the beauty of the sunrise. Sorry, didn't clarify that. Wished I had a camera, but that would have REALLY been dangerous.

Hey, the time changes this weekend....just think, you can take sunrise pics from the parking lot at work.....grin

LOL Hi Smiley, how ya doing today? Oldest grand is staying the night with us. Usually a Friday night ritual. Were playing. I'm hiding,and she hasn't made it this far yet. Figured I would drop behind my chair when she gets close. LOL Speaking of ridiculous, I'll tell yall the story of my Aunt Ruth when she was 82 .She foolishly, decides she is going to climb up on the tail gate of her son in laws truck and grab hold of her grand kids rope swing........Shes 88 now so she did live. I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants.

Too funny, Dixie. Guess she hasn't been out swinging much since, eh?

Moon, RE pictures in the parking lot at work. I thought so too, but I think (although I try not to sometimes) that I'll still be typing "I'm up Lynnie" when I would normally be driving on the crazy expressway. right?

If we fall back, my normal 7:30 sunrise experience will now be 6:30 shower time. So I will miss the sunrise :(

This is the weekend the girls used to have a grownup slumber party. An extra hour to party!

All though there is this old fellow that lives down down from her. Kinda drags his leg when he walks. He's older than dirt him self. And when he sees her,or pretends he can see her.....grin. He will flirt,and she will talk bad about him,but smile and cackle like an old hen.

Sounds like that little ol' chicken may still have a bit o'spring still......ya know the old rooster does.......grin

and I am a glutten for punishment...On Manoday when I felt good my daughter asked if she could have a sleep over...I now have 8 girls to go along with the 5 I already had!
