I'm sure they will love to get the goodies Moon. I know how much you must miss them. I sort of thought that I would wear my teeth. I bought some new ones and a black and red cape. Just hope I don't scare h---out of the baby. Old Mimma will have to become a stripper real fast.LOL The little one doesn't even like for me to wear my reading glasses! And she doesn't like it when my husband shaves. So go figure. We must be uglier than I thought. LOL

Isn't it amazing how quickly we accommodate the grand's? Always said grandkids were the reward for parenthood....lol

That is so very true isn't it. I could eat mine with a spoon. They are going to be little fairies. Cant wait to see them in the little costumes. Ya know I'll have the camera ready. LOL

And I will have a special thread to post them on....can't wait to see all the little fairies, goblins and ghosties.....and pictures of the kids in their costumes too.....lol

Cant wait to see every ones pictures. I will be looking forward to seeing them all. I get such a kick out of the little ones at this time of year. They get so exited about every thing.

Always have in the past, but not this year....DHJim is working tonight and GSJordan is at his Dad's. No one else at our end of the cul-de-sac is going to be home tonight, so without lights, no one will even wander down to this end of the street, more than likely. Just in case they do, I am setting out a big bowl of candy flanked by a couple creepy spiders and the Jack o'lantern....gotta cover all bases....grin I have a couple friends coming later in the evening for a little Howling.

Halloween / Samhain is celebrated somewhat in the more populated areas by children. Most of it happening at grade schools.

The hippies will be having all-night drum-beating & dance parties.

It is a local tradition for the keiki (children) to gather round and listen to the Aunties & Uncles tell "chicken-skin" stories to ho'omaka'uka'u (scare) everyone.

I would seem all cultures have a celebration /ceremony on All Hallow's Eve to honor their loved ones and ancestors....and to "scare" the little ones into line.....grin
