Hasn't been that long ago that mine was making minimum wage and after paying for gas to get to and from work barely had enough for food. My mom and I paid his house payment and the power bill for months.

Now makes really good money as a welder at Deere and acts like we never done anything at all for him , we are all against him being happy.

Wish him all the happiness in the world, but have a bad feeling about this girl.
Who plans on getting married before they are divorced, takes 2 yrs to get the div. and then secretly gets married 4 days after div. is final. Something seems very wrong.

JJ, I am so so sorry. Let's see if I have it right. Both GS mom and your sweet DIL think GS shouldn't be with you so often and he should be with DIL. Is that right? They are both NUTS! They are the ones that need the therapist! So you caused all of your GS problems and not his parents or your DIL????

You have been the only stable person that has been in his life that he can depend on! I think you are a very sharp person who says it like things are. Too old? Sorry but your son is acting like an old person!!! Maybe you can get an appointment with that child therapist and give them a perspective of reality! Only my opinion of course.

they moved when i took care of my mom, actaually my son never lived very far from me when he was not living at home....
It was cheaper for us to live together after my mom passed away.

Oh, and I payed more of the bills here then the 2 of them have put together, a way for them to pay off there wedding...............i better never hear them say they payed for it themselves

Close venice. But GS mom agrees with me. Says my house has been home for most of his life.
Which is really surprising because we had our go arounds too. But she has finally settled down and wants what is best.

Her and I decided he should see someone so maybe he would talk about his feelings and find a way to deal with things.
