ARR my hands don't work like they use to. Had carpal tunnel surgery last Nov. along with fixing the nerve that runs along thumb .

I only remembered because I tried to plant some years ago & they never grew, and when I saw those crazy roots I asked Smiley if it was a vine or the actual vegetable hahaha

LOL I know they are huge But I have an....you know those old wrought Iron porch supports that have all the fancy iron work? I have like 10 of those I can grow the sweet peas up!

can we just skip winter this year and go straight to spring?

Trina, they say you have to germinate the seeds overnight for the sweet pea. Yeah, right!! I soaked them for 2 weeks before they finally broke seed & sprouted just the tiniest bit. So make sure you soak them or they may not sprout. It's a tough seed.
