Did birds, wildlife, perennials, sunsets etc. I can do only one catagory a day as it tires me out.

After almost stepping in dog crap yesterday in my own yard from my neighbors dog and continually finding their cat's crap and scratchings in garden beds i introduced myself to my neighbor today. after some small talk and him telling me about complaining to a neighbor up the street about their kids driving too fast and his threat to them it was time to bring up the pets.
he will keep the dog on a least and install a runner - we will see. he was not sure about how to control that cat. I asked him if he thought catching it in a have-a-heart trap would cure it. he laughed at that - i was serious.
Good fences make good neighbors. Right?

Been doing some photo contest judging. I think it was a mistake to combine misc. with funny. There are some excellent shots that are purely misc, but I know they will be ignored in favor of the funny. People always go for weird/funny.
This is the third year I have participated in the contest and I have to say that there are way more terrible photos this year than in the previous two. There are certainly some good ones, but so many stinkers. Wrong categories, horribly out of focus, double entries, filled with extraneous junk, some descriptions are novels, awful composition, weird sizes - either thumbnail or I have to scroll way down to see the entire thing!
I use thumbnail, then bring up photos which look promising. I see what Victor meant about out of focus.
