our grocery store carries mangos. there is a really nice local chain that is amazing in it's fresh fruits & veggies, prepared foods etc.. called Wegman's. If they ever make it past the Buffalo/Rochester area, give them a try. They give all the big guys a run for their money.

Sorry Trina, I can't figure anything from that small sample. Need to see a mature plant, with flowers / fruit. I can find nothing from the common name given either.
Can you get more information from the folks you got the plant from? Make sure any spelling is correct too.

A guess would be that it's a Passion Flower Tree; maybe Passiflora macrophylla.

they come in trees and not just vines? I'm in trouble now! LOL well I will just have to watch it and photograph any changes then, that is if I don't kill it! LOL

How are the plant obssed? And you know who you are. Grin... And every one doing this evening?

Smiley, have you ever tried grilled mangos? We slice them into 1/2 in thick slices, brush them with carmelized balsamic vinegar and chipotle sauce and grill them for a couple minutes per side....Nummy.

Moon conference went very well.
I make mango butter sauce for fish sometimes...mango, butter, horseradish in food processor, brush on swordfish or salmon while grilling or broiling.

yeah let's none of us ever make stupid lists hahaha where would I start.....

No Jean, I didn't go back and check on the Sycos this time. I have a feeling they will do just fine there. They had some pretty good sized stems on them so they have probably been there for a while and no one knew it. I had never picked from the berry patch they are near until this year.
