Can we please gather everyone who has ever participated in a reality tv show (not to mention those who watch them) and put them on a big home-built helium 'craft', like a Noah's Ark of Freaks, and let it go. Please!!!!!!!!!!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

can not do that victor - my wife is addicted to those shows - from dancing with the stars, top chef, project runway, you name it - her and some friends at work tape shows for each other if they are away or on at the same time

i do banish her to the tv in the bedroom (32") and i take over the 46" HD TV

and what is this go yanks crap!! halo's man halo's!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow - have you seen this?? The kid is fine.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

more amazing is that girl who lost 42 pounds in 2 months at the bottom!!

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

That's amazing that the boy survived, but if I was the mother, I'd have died of a heart attack!

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Are 'So You Think You Can Dance' and 'So You Think You Can Dance Canada' reality shows? If so I'm on the Freak Ark with Mrs wha. I luv those shows. I learn so many new moves and I'm determined to learn how to krump. Besides I think a Freak Ark might be fun ^_^

Lewisville, MN(Zone 4a)

Is there a new way of surviving in helium? Pure helium will probably kill you before you even sit down. How dumb do they think people are.
People should live their lives & quit trying to be FAKE heroes.
Bernie

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I don't put Dancing or Idol in that same category. I'm really referring to the shows that highlight people with no talent doing nothing at all - like the show balloon family was on and the one with the 8 kids, big brother, etc. Useless, in my humble.

Helium would kill eventually. But at least you sound funny before you die! ^_^

Edited to make sense.

This felt good - especially on a day like this.

What about Alvin the Chipmunk? He's in his 50s and still going strong and I think that's pretty old for a chippie. I wonder how it feels to be known as balloon boy and ballon family? I see therapy in their future.

I notice the pic is carefully framed to hide the rubber ducky.

I see the dept. of children's services in their immediate future - hopefully.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

ok i have been found, have not been around do to health problems, besides do you know how hard it is to type with only your left hand. lol still way to hot down here

Lewisville, MN(Zone 4a)

Poor pigs. Children giving them the swine flu!
In case nobodies paying attention, there is a lot of people with the H1N1 already. I had it, both my grandchildren, my daughter, my wife & my son had a very mild case. That takes care of our family. At the rate it's spreading in this part of the country, they won't need the vaccine that won't be ready until after the first of the year!

Actually, the pigs that are at MN State Fair are mostly slaughtered rather than taken back home. It goes back to when they started with decease prevention of the pork industry. The confinement, swine barns in this state & I'm sure others, are off limits to anyone except the employees. They even have to shower before going in.
My SIL drives trucks that haul pigs from one site to another. Very strict on sanitation.

Bernie, swine flu survivor.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

good for you Bernie

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

We have received H1N1 vaccine in this area according to my employee health office, but I am not planning on getting it, so I may be unemployeed unless they lift the regulation.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Welcome back, wren! Hope you're feeling better.

Wow - glad to hear all is well, Bernie. 1st of the year?? Supposed to be ready in the next few weeks. H1N1 is supposed to come from a number of sources and is really not swine flu.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

The judge issued a temporary stay to that order, Deb.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

thanks going to have surgery on shoulder on the 27th, dr says i will not be on the computer for 2 weeks i told him you want to bet lol

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Rotator cuff?

I will probably need arthroscopic on my knee.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Yes, I read that today Victor, another hearing Oct 30th. I reluctantly got the seasonal flu vaccine this week and got sick from it.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

yes plus other problems, hoping that this one stabilize the shoulder enough that i will not have to have the surgery to repair the breast bones.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Sorry wren, hope you have a speedy recovery.
Victor, good luck with the knee too.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

thanks

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks, Deb.

Yes---take care, both of you! Saw that stroller flip on the news---the Mom was momentarily distracted---what? Did she forget she had a child? Honestly! If I see one more mother let a baby walk either on the sidewalk, or in a parking lot without holding their hand, I'm going to scream. I have to go by a daycare to get into town, & sure enough, this past spring, toddler , not being hand held, walked into the road in front of me---I was going the 25 mph speed limit & was able to stop----I gave that mother the dirtiest look---she just walked off in a huff.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Victor, I could go for a dunk in that tub right about now. I'm needing a Calgon moment. Instead, I'm going to bed. 'Nite!

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Wow, Marilyn!! I'd have given her more than a dirty look! Jeesh.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes - the woman near the train had to pull up her pants! You would think she would at least turn the stroller so the wheels are facing the length of the platform.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

If I saw that happen, I'd have to change my pants.

I personally would refuse to get the vaccine.

Here's to a speedy recovery, Wren.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

get well soon Wren

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Guess you don't get the seasonal flu shot, Jen?

Great day - Phils lost and NY won!
