Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

I'm thinking of using it on the patio plants in the spring . . . to maybe prevent drying out too quickly.

Mansfield, TX(Zone 8a)

I never thought to use moss!

Hi Gail,

I sent it to Raisingsouls on Tuesday.

Pat

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Thanks, Pat!!! I could have gone back and read the thread (I remembered that after I asked the question)..............

Very few people have been on the last two nights. I think everyone is glued to CNN right now with the tragedy at Ft. Hood.........my youngest daughter and her husband have all neighbors who are deployed as physicians in Iraq and Afghanistan. My daughter always has these families at her house on the weekend, holidays, etc.............so sad and what a tragedy today. Kileen is very close to where they live so everyone in the neighborhood is in the military.........

She is on vacation but I am sure she is watching what is going on.............

Ellen(Raising Souls) received the box today. I just left her house and the box (she will mail it tomorrow to Meag). She will post what we had to throw away and what she took out. Here is what I took out:
AVS
Rob's Antique Rose (1 leaf)
Honky Tonk Blues- 1 leaf
Ness Satin Rose- 1 leaf
Ness Fire Fly- 1 leaf
Streps
Vampires Kiss- leaf section
Deep Dark Secret
Chiritas
C. Naine Argeate

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Hey.............Shanika........can't wait to see your Chirita Naine Argente looks like. I am not doing such a hot job with mine. She is big but she always loses the bottom leaves turning brown.......keep us posted and then I want to know how how you grew her..........

Love Honky Tonk Blues!!! Deep Dark Secret is one of my very favorite streps. In reality she is much darker than my picture shows.........

Hi all! I've been so busy with work I haven't been here in a few days...

Anyway, it was great to have Shanika-GrowHappy over and look through the box! I'll get it in the mail tomorrow. I love sharing my passion for plants with others... most of the people in my life couldn't care less...

Here's what we threw out:

Leaves:

Franken Allison
Pink Cloud
Rose Blush
Georgia Melon

Here's what I kept:

Plant:
Aparche Warrior

Leaves:
Sylvia
Midnight Satin
Lil tequila
C. Stardust
Raspberry Glitz
Black Pearl Sport

and I won't spoil the fun by saying what I put in- very cute trailer leaves, I ran out of ziplock bags, so I put them in regular baggies with a twistie.

Best,

Ellen
