Mindy I have lavender ones growing in a bed they are not supposed to be growing in. I can dig up one and send it your way if you want it.

Thank you Seray I would love to have one. I want one of each color so far I'm having trouble finding a white one.

The white one can be trouble to find, Mindy. The cultivar they use here is 'Natchez'. I have seeds for a Burgundy Cotton crape myrtle. They have *surprise* burgundy foliage and white flowers. I'm not sure they will come true or come up but you can try. I'll send them to you with the Lav. Crape and a rooted cutting of the coleus I showed you. I'll probably root more I just had that one already.

Got all the seeds off of 2 of the Crepe Myrtles. I don't know the cultivar but I know it's the fuschia pink color. I filled up 1/2 gallon ziploc bag and got a few cuttings to root. So now that the leaves are pretty much all fallen, am I safe to say it's dormant and can take larger cuttings? I'd like to pot a bunch for next summer to plant. Anyone have any advice for me on Crepe's? Gonna go look in the book, too.

Blondie, I bet that is beautiful in the springtime. I was thinking of planting pine or cedar trees down the fenceline along the road on the northern end of the property but am thinking of doing crepes instead. There are people down our road who have some of the biggest Crepes I have ever seen. Maybe you are a good person to ask advice on them since you have so many. Hey blondie what zone are you in again? I got some purdy EE's for ya ☺

this is just a few of them. i got them all for doing a favor for a friend, when he moved in, the guy before had a plant nursery, full of crepes and he told me to take them all dont have to tell me twice lol

well i forgot to tell you all, i just got back from the doctor man i love him, he sent me for a free massage yeeeeahh, and acupunture, that was definitely different.
i get the massage 1 time a week for the next 4 weeks. yippppeee

yes it was, soooo relaxing, even though it is part of my treatment i can handle that kind of treatment anytime.

thanks on the trees i love my trees, i need a new fence though, my husband is going to build a block wall with pillars with the black rod iron or he wants the wood look, one day, probably not for another 5 years lol

Hey you guys, Thanks for all the sweet get wells you sent me. I'm feeling better today but not great yet. I didn't get flu but head cold, sinus infection and earache. You all have a great beautiful day and I'll try to be back tomorrow night for the meeting. No Gilda my way.

I think she's in FL with Cue, Kelly. Probably afraid of all that bad weather up north. :)

If she is smart she may stay there till spring. No telling what germs out here now.

seray - I think you're right. She wouldn't even want to be here right now. It was 45° at my house this morning and won't get much over 60° today. Yesterday was as cold and really windy - cold windy - lol. Supposed to warm back up into the 80s by the weekend. Some cold front from the northwest. Wish it would have brought some rain.

Hey Blondie send me another billon candle bush seeds I just discovered my company took all my seeds yesterday. Gee I just said I would share not take the whole 2 containers I had left.

Thank you Ms Kelly for the compliment I was just letting ya'll know it's on the way and hopefully will arrive by Saturday. I'm sure we'll hear when it does get there.

Break time is up sigh helping DH load scrap metal and sort more scrap. Done cut my finger once and got my feet wet twice this morning. Oh well the location for the grape orchard will be ready soon as we get that mess cleaned up.

I just got here and started reading the thread. Wow I didn't know you could start crepes from seed. How exciting - buying those babies can be very expensive. I have a neighbor with lots of crepes and I have crepe envy! If I whine enough, would someone share seed and knowledge with me?? I have unknown peach iris that still need homes. I can get 6 to 8 rhizomes in the $4.95 flat rate box - would be willing to share with at least 6 people for trade or postage.

Hey you guys, I have an Iris that is trying to bloom again. It's way past blooming time here in my zone, but occasionally I get blooms in feb. with snow on them.

Goodmorning everyone... Another 5 inches of rain over night and its its still flooding outside....water is touching my iris bed... waaaa sure hope it stops raining soon..Not to mention dont want to sit out in the rain at the football game tonight ....School is letting out early due to the roads flooding..but far as I know the game is still on..Im feeling lucky to even get online usually when it rains im out of lucky...Seems like it is raining all over the world....Sure hope you all are staying dry...

I sure hate to tell you this...the sun is shinning in Oklahoma (right now). With our crazy weather, that could change any minute. I am going outside to determine where the goth garden is going. So much room, so little imagination!!
