The three Rs are a great idea, Sharon. Sure you were involved in teaching them as I. Always pick up the small amount of litter I see when walking in Case Woodlot. Main problem is the plastic which lingers on. Grew to really dislike plastics over twenty years of teaching chemistry (human health and the environment).

Re Volkswagen: read recently that the Company wants to replace Toyota as the number 1 car seller in the world. Apparently to do this they must get back into the North American market as they were in the 1960's. And they won't be relying on The Beetle and Volkswagen vans of the Counterculture!
