I don't know who this is, but I liked this picture anyway.
DAILY PICS Vol 250
I'd go for Palm Warbler on that last one
Resin
yah? nice to hear. Thanks!
Thought you might like a look at the current totals and record totals w/ year at the Hawk Watch in Cape May. Some raptors numbers are doing better but others have dropped way off, like the
Peregrine Falcon which is so sad.
Current numbers are in the Left two columns and record count years are on the right.

That's pretty interesting.
Tiger, nice photos of the Flicker. I've been hearing a lot of them, but no sightings.
Good collection of Sparrows, Rose. I got my first photo of a Savannah Sparrow yesterday.
Margaret, always like your colorful Rainbow Bee-eaters.
Pelle, I know what you mean about yesterday's weather conditions. I was across the bay at Bombay Hook for a few hours, in the afternoon. Part of Bombay Hook was closed for hunting but I did see what I went for, i.e. primarily the American Avocet and at least 1,000+ Snow Geese had arrived. It was a terrible day for photography but I made the most out of it. Unfortunately, the Avocets are in their non-breeding plumage. I spent most of my time shooting Snow Geese, in-flight. The photos didn't turn out too bad against a dark background.
That one would make a great greeting card.
Great shots everyone!
GP, Love the Ibis close up!
Pretty flight shot Linth!
Nice shots everyone.
Adelbertcat...like the capture of gold finch drinking out the watering can
Margarett...love the colorful birds...nice shots
Dellrose...nice sparrow shots...they are back on my end too. (been seeing the white-throated, swamp, song sparrow and one I will have to get id'd...it looks like the white-crowned sparrow.
Lith...nice BIF shots...Bombay hook is on my to visit list.
I've been visiting a local wetland park nearby when I don't have the time to go out far (Cheltenham Wetland Park) which is near the Federal Law Enforcement training center in my area...very secluded and quite. I am usually the only one out there other than the birds and other animals. I saw, or actually scared off, an Eagle the other weekend and the Hawks are always out there chasing birds...then there's the Belted Kingfisher who takes up residence there. This past weekend I got some photos of various sparrows, bluebirds and finally a decent shot of the Northern Flicker. They are all over the place at this wetland area. This place is a hidden gem.
Bluebirds caught eating blue berries...they were not afraid of me they all over this tree.

Terrific shots, Al. The Bluebird gulping down the berry is a really good capture. I love the Flicker in amongst the Autumn leaves. It blends well.
Great shots Al!
Beautiful pics, Al. I love the color of the leaves reflecting off their feathers.
That's a shame Dinu!
Gorgeous birds and great shots, Pelle.
Nice! Wish I had one of those here.
Pelletory don't be so hard on yourself, it looks pretty good to me.
