Time for a new thread. Good Morning Everybod-eeee as furry loveable old Grover would say. Grin
This is the bloom on the Rootbeer plant
Gypsies and Well-diggers....oh my

My Kitchen looks like a nursery. Who wants rose clippings
No thanks. I finally killed all of my other ones. Sorry.
the rose clippings I sent you died? If they did I will make starts for you and send them to you this spring
ok I know there are watchers out there...I still have a few dat brug cuttings and a ton of this pink tree rose If you want Clippings Just dmail with what you want and your address
Rootbeer plant??? Can you make root beer?
Anyone want any 'regale' lily seeds? You're rubbing off on me, I saved the seeds!
My rose is still alive, Trina. It has a mini leaflet that looks real good.
Back to the grind...
Before i go, does anyone know the best time to transplant grape hyacinth? Mine is all in clumps, and growing, I might add. I don't know why, they did this time last year too. I would assume after they bloom next year, but thought I'd ask.
"Rootbeer plant" is an uncommon name for Piper auritum. A relative of the Black Pepper plant, from Mexico. It is (leaves) sometimes used as a spice.
I'll take some seeds Julie!
Aloha Dave
Moon I can't Find the address exchange!
I found it! Ok Tuesday they will be in the mail!
Rachel is anyone in the aroids forum Rachel? I have some that need Identified I think
here is yet another arrow head vine I think
That is the juvenile leaves of Syngonium podophyllum.
The oval succulent leaves are Peperomia obtusifolia. The cultivar might be 'Sensation'; need to see focused photos of the plant to make a good ID.
The last one is Maranta leuconeura 'Erythroneura'.
I didn't think it was an aroid, thank you for confirming it, I wrote all the names on popsicle sticks and put them with the plants
Is there a common name for that last one of Trina's, Dave? Or is 'Erythroneura' the common name?
thanks Dave! sorry the photo wouldn't focus, I'm not good with cameras.
Smiley those are pretty! send me as many as you want! and I hope you wanted some of these rose clippippings, cause you're getting them anyway...LOL
Hi Smiley! It's common name is the "Prayer Plant".
Smiley, I would really like to have just a few seeds. If there are a lot in a pod, only one pod please. They are so pretty! I can't believe how tall yours grew!
I love roses, but I kill the big ones. My mini's do OK. I rescued a mini tea rose from the grocery store and I don't think it's a mini. Looks like a full-fledged tea rose.
Give me time...
The lilies are pretty. I bought them for the leaves, and the nursery "thought" they were more purpl-ey than they turned out to be. They have a really nice smell, too. I would have preferred a different color, I have a few Easter lilies already, but oh well.
I'll send you a bunch of seeds.
okay, coming at you, Venice.
Thanks Dave.
Tatey looks like my passion flower vine. I was trying to figure out whether to cut it or not, and it started spewing new shoots. Even has them coming out of the bottom of the pot.
Smiley this one is a mini but it's not a mini if that makes any sense, the flowers are all like mini's little pink ones everywhere, about a medium pink, but they grow like a bush or a climber depending on how you train or trim them, Blooms profusely too.
LOL! Well Tatey don't look too bad for being dug up almost in the middle of the night, now I gotta deal with Tatey's friends still, oh joyous!
Hope everyone is having a good day. Sunny here!!! I am going digging after lunch.
Trina, I can't believe you still have plants not identified!!! I have a question about planting this little rose bush. I have cherry tomatoes growing in an area 6" wide by about 3 ' long. Do you think I can put that bush there? All other areas are not very protected.
I went out looking to see if plants had been marked down more. All of Lowe's perennials and bushes were half price. The tropicals were at the same mark down price around $5 or more. There are zero plants at Menards's. Home Depot has bushes also at half price and perennials a little more than half price. Didn't buy anything!
I did pick off some seeds: Moon something Yarrow seeds with yellow flowers and gray-green leaves, green pods from a toad lily with very small white and purple flowers, a couple of rose hips, and 4 different seeds or berries from bushes or trees.
Trina, I can't believe you still have plants not identified!!!
Smiley, thank you so much!!
Trina, why do you call it Tatey? Is it a sweet potato vine?
Yes Venice I still have plants unidentified, and yes you can plant that little rose bush there. I think I'm ready for a vacation!
Yes it's a sweet potato vine, with a freeze warning we dug them all up...this guy didn't have a tuber though so I stuck him in a flower pot...I just couldn't watch him die
If I dig up my tomato plants can I still leave the plant and roots in tack and put the whole thing in a sheltered area? They still have tomatoes but they aren't ripe yet.
you mean mean i a flowerpot in a sheltered aea?
I could do that.or I was thinking that I could hang them up back in my corner where I keep my tools.
