Kitty brought home a mouse a couple days ago and she put it in the middle of the patio. She doesn't eat what she catches. She just plays with them.

The volcano balls are "Volcanic Bombs", which are formed by lava being blown into the air, and as it flies it becomes round and gets hard before it hits the ground.

These spheres can be thrown into the air over 2,000 ft.!

This area of the flow had a large amount of them.

Venice, Kitty brought the mouse to you, have you been sick? She is showing she needs to care for you, either love on her a bit or literally say thank you and tell her she did good, when she's not looking throw it away, she definately likes you

Well, then I think she liked me too much when she first came here. Do you know how hard it is to catch a bird in the house? She also used to lay her animals on the rug outside by the patio door. She knows I don't like that. So we are both happy if she puts them in the middle of the patio. One of these days I will tell you the story about Kitty. She is not like a regular cat.

Back from my day with my mother and friends.
Will never be warm again. Moon I never got to shed any layers, wish I'd had a couple more.

Cold , muddy and miserable but the company was nice. We had a good time.
Didn't buy much except food. Lets see we had pork chop sandwiches, caramel apples, onion rings, brats with peppers and onions, funnel cakes and rotater taters.
Brought home cherry, pies, apple pies, pumpkin pie fudge, dark chocolate fudge, well ya get thwe idea!

Guess I'll say good night yall. Having some trouble with this computer. Every one have a lovely and safe good night.

The highest temp I seen today was 42 and I know the wind chill was colder than that.
I felt sorry for the vendors. Lots of people out but to cold to really stand and look at their stuff real good.

One house had their little boy about 10 or 11 sitting on the corner selling soda. He had to be freezing and it was way to cold to buy a cold drink. Wanted to go up and knock heads together!!

Nice Phalaenopsis Trina. I found that particular Orchid to be an easy house plant for me to grow and stay in constant bloom here while I had them. I gave mine away to a friend not long ago.

I like those stacked volcano balls Dave.......those are cool looking.

Venice, don't you just love it when the kitty's bring home "prey" that is still alive;-) Geesh....I wish mine would bring her catch to me dead and not still yelling for help.

Yea venice we had alot of food. We share alot though. Like one order of onion rings and cut sandwiches in half. And still feel like stuffed pigs.

GS JJ likes pumpkin so he gets pumpkin fudge and pumpkin bread brought home to him every year. DH gets apple pie.

The guys in the tents put on a really good show, but they had to be cold.

Trust me we had lots of samples first. Got back to the car and my mom asked the girls with us how many they tried and they answered "None cuz he couldn't get away from you, to get to us!!"

Gotta know my mom.
She could talk to a perfect stranger for hours. Sometimes I just roll my eyes and walk away grinning.

That is outside London Mills.

We go to maquon, London mills, Farmington Park and the fairgrounds in Farmington ( which was a mud pit this year) and stop at things along the road. Then tomorrow they will go to Knoxville before they head back to Chicago.

I like to go to Lewiston because I like the flea market stuff better than the craft stuff. I go to Argyle on labor day week end when they have their thing.

and then Venice sent me plants and well her spiders are lemon lime colored while the ones I have are either variegated or very dark green, and a mother in laws toungue I've never seen before and an arrow head vine thats way different than either of the ones I have so I'm feeling awesome today!
Then I started on the hosta seeds and I have more hosta seeds than I do everything else combined!
