Tried to overwinter asparagus ferns and boston ferns a couple of years but won't do that again. What a mess!!!

Peacock Plant? I wouldn't mind some Mandevilla. I have so many spider plants in 2 colors that I am afraid they are going to attack me in my sleep

I have to agree with the mess on the asparagus fern! But they look awesome out on the back deck in Summer

I have never had one that didn't produce offspring so don't know whats up with this one, It is full and green and have had it around two years. The peacock is just a green houseplant with a pretty design etched in leaves. I will send you some mandevella roots next spring if it makes it through the winter. I have a red one and pink one. The red is in a hanging basket.

yes and those ferns don't come cheaper every year when ya buy them. Thats when a greenhouse is really nice.

Neighbor found me a good deal on a pressure washer so won't have to pay anyone to do it for me next year. Son loves it when I buy new toys LOL

yes but don't think he will be doing windows any time soon again Lol. It's been an all summer project in his spare time and still have two to go.

I know it and most of them are ready to have the babies taken off...it's amazing

Rain, rain, rain and no end in sight. Three weeks of rain and the forecast is for rain next week. I sure feel sorry for our farmers. Talked to one guy with over 3000 acres of soybeans still in the field at a cost of planting of $400/acre. One guy has 1900 acres of cotton in the field at a cost of planting of $650/acre. Several thousand acres of sweet potatoes still in the field at a cost of planting $2800/acre. Can't help but be sad. Off to preach an old friends funeral. See you later.

uhg, doing seeds makes me sleepy

What happens if you open a hibiscus pod before it is brown? It was just starting to turn sort of a dark green. The seeds are a light beige. Are they still good if dried?

I just went outside and the sidewalk was warm to my feet where the sun was shining. Picked cherry tomatoes and picked a few petunia seeds. I am still hoping to get seeds from the doubles. When I went to put those seeds away, I checked my other seeds and that is how I happened to open that hibiscus pod.

It is definitely getting warmer here. It says it is 51 but it feels warmer in the sun even in my shorty pj's and sweat shirt!

Hi all. Moon glad to see ya girl! Venice the poo babys are chicks and ducks. LOL We dont have any goats. Baby goats are very cute. Wonder if there is a minature goat breed?

It was 93 degeees here yesterday. I am more than ready for some cool weather. The mosquitoes are still alive and well ! I am so tired of having to take a bath in bug spray. Just to try and enjoy spending some time in our yard.
