New start for the week's end.
GYPSIES,FRIENDS &FOLIAGE
Good Morning Trina. Good Morning All.
Hope everyone has a sweet day, going to clean closets...if I am not back in a couple days, send in the troops....GRIN
Moon
If I can I'm gonna try to get them in today but with a week of rain I'm dealing with very soggy mud and a freeze.....yuck I hate winter
I don't know about you, but this time of year, after it rains for a while, I go outside and look and go "yuck."
Doesn't inspire me to get out there in the least.
Better you wait a few days if possible, better for you and the bulbs. Technically, you have until Thanksgiving or so to plant them.
I hear ya, Smiley....hot or cold I don't like the squishy muck.
Good Morning Venice. Hope you are feeling better today.
Okay, playtime is over....grin
See ya all later.

Moon, talk about squishy muck, were you affected by Katrina (not our Trina!)??
I'd rather hibernate when winter comes like a mean old nasty Grizzly Bear!
Only the rain and wind a bit, no flooding. Gustav did more damage here than Katrina or Rita.
How were you affected by Gustav?
does anybody here want any brugmansia cuttings before I throw them away?
Well all I know is we better get helmets for Christmas cause its gonna be raining taters this time next year if they get em planted in outer space lol. I'm a firm believer that what goes up must come down. The tons of fuel they burn up there is misting down on us and they blalme it on our hairspray can ///////geeeesh. Good morning all, had fund day yesterday weather was beautiful here. Sorry you guys are swamped with cold and rain, sure my turn is just around the bin. Moon don't get lost in those closets and JJ hope you have a blast with family in site seeing. Colors stilll haven't changed much here I guess because of all the rain.
what color are they, Trina?
I know one is orangish and that's all, cause only one flowered this year....But I ordered
1 orange
1yellow
1 red
1 pink
I also have a double yellow and a double purple if anyone is interested. Speak now or forever hold your peace
speaking! speaking! I'll go for it. Mine did pretty good until it got knocked over by the wind a zillion times. But I like them!
you want one of each Julie? The only one I know for sure what color it is is an orangish yellow
Ok I'll go brush my teeth and try again later, must be my breath! Have a great day Smilely,Trina, and Venice.
don't go flowers, please?
Welll my eyes were crossing waiting for a response and clicking back and forth LOL How are you today Ms Trina?
sorting more seeds at the moment cause it's just too darned cold to go outside and do what I need to do today....
seems to me the site is moving slow today
Yea I notice sometimes will click back several times and nothing and then all of a sudden 5 or 6 responses are there. Strange for sure.
yeah...uhg, I didn't realize how many more seeds I had to sort through!
Man I'm gonna have to quit spending money but it sure is fun. I got a cool night llight yesterday. Its a hailight rock (probably didn't spell that right) and looks so cool for night light for bathroom. Then I ordered the sharp vacume and steam mop. Gotta quit that lol
springs going to be fun I have like 2 dozen bags labeled mystery plant, cause I didn't know what it was when I got the seeds!
yeah I guess you do, my problem is buying seeds off DG Marketplace....LOL
well I'm thinking houseplants now cause there sure isn't anything going on outside right now. Just hate to water them all in dry heat of winter in house. They usually croak from not the right enviroment light ect inside. You have the perfect setup over there.
Never had luck with seeds, probably because I don't have the patience they need.
Where did you go Venice??? Smilely????
only because I worked really hard at it, and trust me I still loose plants! In fact I think just in the last 2 weeks I've probably lost a couple dozen, kids leaving things in them, knocking them down, throwing there nasty socks in them, laying books on top of them, the dog....I'm not always successful that's for sure, can't wait until the greenhouse is done though, BF is putting lock on the door so the kids can't get in it!
Good plan, kids can be destructive without meaning too at times Just a kid thing I guess.
The BF ain't much better sometimes let me tell ya!
Trina, is the sun out over there? If you go outside and stay in the sun, it will seem warmer, really! I am waiting until this afternoon so the sun will be where I want to plant.
I can't imagine you throwing out anything, even cuttings!
So is puppy going to be a cheerleader or a witch. I vote for a witch! Can we see a photo of puppy today?
Never did marigolds yesterday but they can wait forever the way I look at it. I have some other things I need to get done.
Got more stocking stuffers yesterday, with 13 grandkids all ages have to start early. Starting to think it would have been easier to give them all 20 bucks but they do enjoy the surprises.
when the puppy is up I'll post a new pick, Yeah suns out over here...I'm working on hollyhock seeds right now
And yes venice I'm throwing the entire plant away...6 total, I do not like them, they stink, and the drop leaves everywhere!
LOL flowers USUALLY I have all my christmas shopping done by now
Well if ya don't start early with this familly you could very easily miss one lol. Hey Venice, glad you are seeing some sunshine today.
very true, I got 5 teens....yuck
I wouldn't keep stinky plants either!!!
the dats are definately stinky, especially the double purple datura
My Mandevellas are dropping leaves now in bathtub greenhouse but hopefully will come back next spring. I havve a spider plant which by the way doesn't produce babies (strange), a assortment of catus in dish type garden, a peacock plant, a bromalaid and a tropical looking little palm in pot in front room window that usually deal with the indoor winter pretty good.
