That is a beautiful back door!!..Is the closed in porch the part on the right, or is it where your back door goes in?
Dee

Hamilton, OH

Dee
the backdoor is the entry to the enclosed backporch, the windows are of the kitchen, that part was added on, to the original house, I have 18 windows in the house, but they're no good for lighting in the winter, I have to insulate the backporch & get good windows out there, this house is 85yrs old, this summer we added central air & a new furnace, so we are still working on it, I love the stainglass window in the living room, by the front porch

Elizabeth

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

have you girls seen a plant called Alternanthera multicolor. It is sooooo pretty...it's an annual that can be grown as a house plant? I think it might be hardy in Zone 10.It is a foliage plant that has yellow, white and pink leaves.I think it only gets 8-12 inches wide and tall.I bought a little start of one at my favorite nursery last summer, and I liked it so much, that I brought it in as a house plant...you should look it up.
Dee

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Yes, always haveto look out for cats and dogs. Dee, we want everything and I don't know where we are going to put it but we will put it somewhere.

Charleen,You do live in a jungle, and I love it....and, I love your brick walkway.
Elizabeth, Fandango is so pretty that it doesn't look real..looks like a flower that you would see on a birthday cake...makes me want to lick it...lol
Elizabeth don't worry about air layering Star dancer. There's always next year..You know we are gonna be gabbing more that ever next summer...lol
Dee

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Just let me know if it doesn't root. i will start you one Elizabeth. They
do attract butterflies and I'll even see a hummer over there once in a while.
The pic was darker than I wanted. It is supposed to rain tomarrow, so I wouldn't have been able
to take a pic. It is really quite pretty out here,Thanks.

It is beautiful. You could plant it under your brugs next spring. Root half a dozen starts
and plant. Would look beautiful.

Hamilton, OH

Dee
I think charlene is right, the big momma on the right, is the one I was telling Charlene about, that's versa color Orange
it has Blooms all along the stem, it's leaves are serrated
Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Dee
you have a pretty plant there,it would look georgeous as ground cover, just don't plant moneywort, around any Brug that you're going to dig up, they also call it creeping jenny, it's pretty ground cover but it's invasive, the moneywort, they call it that because the leaves are round like a penny
Elizabeth

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Charleen, I think we need to take cots next summer...notice I didn't say sleeping bags....and have a sleepover next summer in Elizabeth's back yard.
Dee

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

girls, I believe I am going to bed early. Got up early
to get DH to work, tomarrow he is taking himself.
But I never did get to go back to sleep.
Sure feel sleepy now.
So Godnight to you both, til tomarrow.
Charleen

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Yes, so we can really rest underneath themagnificent brugs.
Wouldn't that be blissful? I would love it.

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Elizabeth, I have the golden moneywort. I love the color, but you are right...INVASIVE. I just pull it out and pitch it, when it goes where I don't want it..lol
