Yep-----when we left for the orchard, it was 41 & sprinkling----by the time we got to Washington, it was snowing heavily.
Zone 7a reporting! Windy & rainy but no snow! (☺!)

Yikes, we're leaving for Florida via a night in Connecticut with my son tomorrow and it looks like we will have to change our route to avoid snow on Saturday in the PA mountains.....ugh, ugh!
Hopefully, I'll be back in touch when we land early next week.

Nasty weekend on tap. My wife is doing an overnight camp with my son for the scouts!
39 and icky! Glad the new furnace was finished being installed yesterday AND that it works. a toasty 70 inside. I had to get a little electric heater for mom's room. She was toasty while the rest of the house was chilly. I'm glad we tried turning the furnace on last week and found out it was kaput, so it could be rectified before it got TOO cold. I love those little rice bags that can be heated up in the microwave and used as warmers.

Wish I had my camera when we went to son's house today---about a mile from his place, someone made 3 snowmen by the side of the road---3! Our snow was gone this morning, but there were a few patches left at the farm. Boo, hiss---I hate this weather---wish I was in your car, Louise. Safe trip!

I have a BIL and 2 SIL that are NEP fans, DD # 2 is a Red Sox fan thats it. Soon to be SIL is a Jets/Mets fan.......DH & I don't do any of it!! LOL
