We went down to Conn. yesterday and came home today to a really cold house. My feet are still cold. It's 50 degrees outside here, but feels much colder. We brought my son's dog back with us for 5 days while my son is out of town. Tomorrow we have a birthday outing (all outside stuff planned) planned with our 5-year-old grandson....."very soggy day" predicted, so it looks like we might take him to the Butterfly Conservatory instead of playing outside in the cold rain. LOL
62 now and it says foggy... still to dark to see... going up to 73 and supposed to get a thunderstorm later on... we were having some computer trouble... looks like I fixed it for now.. but going to need a new computer soon.. this one is tired

this is so frustrating... I can't wait for windows 7 to come up.. my video card is going.. monitor already died... my dvd/cd burner only reads when it wants to.. carbonite ... here I come!!
My video card went last spring and I ended up buying a new tower that could hold more rather than just replacing the video card. Everything else was fine and works so thats all I had to do. :)
yeah that's what we are doing too... this one is 4 years old ... time for an upgrade.. and since we want to run the holiday lights off the computer.. need something reliable ... no time for stress!!!

you are going to run you xmass lights off the computer? why not use a $2 timer?
I am programing the lights to music... timer won't do that

Thunder & lightning last night, got ½" rain, rain ended mid-morning sun tried to break though an hour ago, but cloud cover too thick.
In the 60's & misted most of day---now it's pouring----son flew out to N. Dakota to duck hunt.
Drove to Maine in rain & back in same until we hit MA border. Tree color along the way was great however. Can't do such fancy stuff & it is not computer's fault--just the silly operator.
Man did the storms roll thru here tonight. Now it is super foggy.

Great day. Warm in the sun, but cool breeze. Had my parents over. We celebrated my mom's birthday, which was Friday.

Today was garden clean out day for the broccoli, pepper & tomato plants. Gone. Hank helped me pull up all the dahlias, so they're now drying out after the deluge of rain we had here yesterday and last night. Tons of leaves are down now, and we can see lots of "snowbirds" heading south in the skies above.
60 degrees here at the moment. I took out all the plant tags I so carefully put in....duh....they'll all get raked up in the spring if I leave them in.

Wow - season's are certainly changing there.
Beauty of a day---top ten---found witch hazel blooming behind the dam---high 60's, after drenching rain yesterday---tornado warnings were posted down by the shore in Memory and Dave's area.
