Quit worrying about earth worms. You can't kill the things. When cold weather sets in they breed like crazy and lay tons of eggs. When the ground warms up the eggs will hatch and you have more worms next spring. Wisdom from the worm man.
straw or mulch for winter?
eeeewwww...I'm happy to have them, but OUTSIDE lol
