We only ate 2 kinds of mushrooms. The little, brown, butter mushroom and cauliflower mushrooms. Generations of eating w/o an issue. Its justbeentoolongfor me.

Here's my last bouquet of dahlias!
Oh, pretty! Sad to see them done for the year. I saw my last DL's blooming today. Oh, I may be wrong. Goodbye Columbus and Autumn King may have a bud or 2 yet to bloom. The one that was blooming today was Double Season. It was a rebloom scape. It only bloomed single today.

Would love to have a DL blooming, but freeze warnings are issued for tonight. So I went into the garden & found some things blooming that I didn't expect, like this glad....
And here is the pineapple sage showing color---sometimes it actually opens before frost, but not this year!
Hmmm if it freezes does that mean it's too late to bring in the geraniums? Doh!

Hey JoAnn.
It's cold this morning! Have to go out and see if we got hit with frost. I was away all week so hope to have some coleus left.
Its bad out there.
No frost at my place last night, but I think the cranberry bog across the street got it. I was expecting to come home from my overnight shift to find dead coleus plants. So nice to see they're still alive. I will take cuttings today and try to overwinter them.
