nice victor - now i'll have to see if my clethra, itea, and blue muffins are photo worthy - none of them jumped out at me yesterday - although an itea that i banished to the backyard by the pond has been looking good - did that before it knew what the heck it was :)

celeste you still have a lot of blooms left there and that's a nice bouquet!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

hayden's eye match the dress flowers - cute girl

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Yes, she picked that dress out for that reason! LOL However, any dress will do with that little girl. She loves dress's.....looks a bit funny while riding her PINK 4 WHEELER!! She's the best of both worlds...girly-girl as far as clothes go but loves 4 wheeling.

cut from grammas cloth I'll bet

Such great photos, don't know where to start! Jen, I just got the wintergreen as a present, so it's not planted yet. Loved your Black Current, Allison's coleus, Bill's amaranth, Victor's coralberry, & Pixie's DL, wedding bouquets, & Hayden. Here is my Hayden, aged 4.

Too funny! We both have Haydens one year apart.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Great shots, Celeste. Nice to see DL's still going. Beautiful bouquet and Hayden(s)!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Great pics, nice that you still have something going on Celeste.
Victor and Bill, hubby would love your yards, he's more into shrubs and foliage than flowers. Maybe that's the excuse I'll use to buy some more.

LOVE that bouquet..... it is beautiful.
I used to have a dress just like Hayden's when I was little.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Jen - pick the right shrubs and you'll have both!

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Great to see the fall colour and the season-challenged LA lily. My fav of this bunch is Hayden in her pretty dress ^_^ It will be interesting to see if my stellas will keep blooming now that Jack is Back. They are under the protection of a dahlia this year so maybe/maybe not.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

little honey hydrangea just glows - noticed that the two that get a bit more sun have better yellow color than the one in deeper shade

Great shots, everyone!

Celeste and Marilyn, both Haydens are adorable!

Here are a few shots from the other day.

Late blooming DL called 'Goodbye Columbus'. A very tall one, too.

A trio of pots by the front door with mostly coleus. Won't be long before these go by.

This is some sort of tradescantia, I think. Don't really know for sure. Has spotted leaves and tiny flowers. Very nice and well behaved, unlike another variety I have that has spread out of control.

A closer shot of it.

And last for now, some coleus planted directly in the garden.

Cousin Nut do you get a skin reaction from the tradescantia? I'm trying to figure out how common that is before I get it. Thanks.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

No, I don't. Never heard of that.

Karen

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Supposedly some people do. There's a note in PF and I saw it on some other sites. Maybe it's an allergic reaction? So far everyone I ask says 'no' so methinks it will be in my garden next summer ^_^

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Very nice, Karen. Great coleus! I have to take cuttings soon.

I have subscribed to Carbonite for online backing up. Nice deal - especially for three years, which is what I got. The initial upload is taking forever. I am in day 4 of it and it is 2/3 done. It's backing up over 70GB! Mostly photos, of course. After that, it should be fast and invisible - working constantly in the background as new files are added.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

I need to do that. Computerguy is disgusted with me cuz I don't have anything backed up and says "Bringing me flowers won't help me get it back". I have officially made this an A priority on my winter project list. ps computerguy usually can do anything if I bring him flowers so this is serious stuff. Good for you Victor.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Thanks, Victor!

That backing up is definitely a good idea. I need to do that myself. Absolutely a number one priority this winter.

There are 20% off coupons online for Carbonite. That's what I used. So three years for $103 - not bad!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

that's worth it Victor

Thomaston, CT

That's a pretty tradescantia, Karen---looks like a keeper. I don't keep anything on my computer---should I?

Atkinson, NH(Zone 5a)

Hi lovely "long view of your garden"...What is the tall light purple plant blooming...Very nice...

Liza
