Planes are the worst and anyone who wears that much cologne in close quarters like that should have to take a bath in cologne they hate!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Coushatta, LA

Well later girls.Going to eat and then go shoot pool.So everyone have a bless night.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Hi ladies. I was weak this afternoon, couldn't do much.. no fever.. just earaches and sinuses acting up again. Slept for 4 hours. Thank God for the luxury of being able to stay home.

Crissy, Kel doesn't complain on the escalating prices of a good premium steaks. He'd say we deserve it. He also loves to eat out and that's one part I'm not too thrill about. But then, if that makes him happy, I compromise.

You can handle a jerk Juanita! Just tell yourself you're a better human than him.
Let us know when you'll be selling those coleus.

Oh Susan.... you need an assistant!!! But your effieciency will whip those minutes in no time ;)

Bonnie, at least they're smart enough to move you to 1st. class.
I was moved to 1st class not because of body ordor, but the couple I was sitting next to told me to find another seat, as they wanted to be left alone. Mind you, they're in their late 60's and Coach was packed.
Told the JAL stewardess, and she moved me to 1st. class. So blessings there. A better flight experience from Tokyo to L.A!

((((((((((((((((((CODY)))))))))))))) Sooooooo glad to see you!
Don't mean to shout, but we've missed you so much!!!!! Seems like you've already settled down. How is Alex??
Praying still, just the best for you.
Call me late tonight if you want to. Don't think I'll be able to sleep till after 11!

Kel's taking me out Mexican. He says I need some hot Posole. Of course, he'll be ordering his carnitas.

Catch you later ladies!

Raleigh, NC

well, the Lord knows what he's doing..

been divorced - best thing that ever happened to me, except for child births, up until then.....that is, until I met the one the Lord wanted me to marry in the first place!

also hardest thing I'd been through up until then, too. Heart wrenching and soul splitting. am so sorry you're having to go through it now, Cody, daw'lin'.

when are things final? I got divorced in WA because supposedly I could do it in 90 days- took 18 month. here in NC it takes at least a year and I know folks that still aren't finished 4 years later!!!

once it's final, you get on to a new life. are the attorneys still bad about double standards, i.e., he can have a new girlfriend, but you've got to keep a "pure" stance? that's what they did to me, for 18 months! always did say I was a much better Christian before I discovered sex.

( Kim) Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

Well I am a little better but I still am not smoking 1 week today this is so hard but If you guys can do it so can I
Well my son has brought me my puppy lab/boxer fast eddy is his name here heis

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Hey Cody, so glad to see you back here! Divorce? Yep, benn there 2 times, and that is enough. Married to hubby nuber 3. 3rd ti me is the charm!

KIm, glad your feeling better, and yeah, for the 1 week smoke free! Just think of the money you will save for more plants, and puppy food! Love fast freddie!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Oh Cody,

I'm so sorry to hear that. I've only been married twice first ended in divorce, 2nd death. I do hope to marry again some day and it will be my 3rd so hopefully a charm.

Still no word from Steve and I'm trying very hard not to bother him. Hopefully I'll hear from him tomarrow. This will be the first time we have not talked for a whole day since we me online.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

This is my 2nd marriage, and my DH's 3rd! hahahaha my DD said she (without thinking...) pittied anyone who'd marry someone as a 3rd spouse. She loves my DH like the dickens, and is happy for me, but didn't think about the fact that I'M a 3rd wife for my DH LOL Her face fell in shock at what she'd said when I said "I'm Bob's 3rd wife......" LOL

We've been married for almost 11 years, and it was sure meant-to-be!!!

~Susan~

(Laura) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Phyllis, cats and clothes, I sware it's like a magnet. If I can't get mine put away right away I throw a towel or a coat over them so I only get fur on one thing.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

YAY!! One full week without smokes! That's worth a celebration! You Go Kimmy Girl!!!

That's a good idea Laura! I'm going to have to do that from now on, Tiga's shedding like a fiend.

Cody it gets to that point, doesn't it.

Arkansas is famous for their 30 day divorces. If no one is fighting over anything there's no reason to drag it out, it's when there's children especially, but personal belonging fights can drag a divorce on forever. One of my co-workers just filed and they don't have kids together, her attorney figures it will be over by the first of January, and that's worse case scenario.

Well Dave's my first marriage, I'm his second and we've been married 3 1/2 years. So far it has been awesome.

I got home and noticed Dave erased the note off of the white board, so that's good. I'm not even going to bring it up and hopefully he won't either. Went out to get the mail and ants have made a nest inside my mailbox! I sprayed it with Raid and need to go out and wipe it out and shut the hatch..

I'm still not in a good mood though.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

How sweet of your son, Kim. You'll have constant companion in your new home. Now you can spend money on Fast Eddie, instead of ciggies.

With all the cats I have here, Laura, only 1 sheds bad.

Aww Cindy... you're lovesick!! He needs the rest and have some will power sistah!! He'll call you once he thinks he can think straight ;)

That's good of Dave, Crissy. He shouldn't have written that! What was he thinking!! Men!!

Kel's my second. I was my ex's 4th wife. I was married the longest to him. About 25 years.
Not ready for another. Left it to the Lord, and He chose Kel. Not counting the years with him, just the quality moments :D

Bonnie, you're too funny!!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

HA!!! Steve finally texted me. Says he's still weak but is taking his granddaughter fishing as promised for her birthday. Gotta love man who thinks of his family before his health.

I'm still searching other guys, lol. Dang there are some good looking hunks out there with Harleys but they are more than 100 miles from me:(. I'm not doing a long distance romance nope no way. Steve and I are taking it slow and he said that if I met someone else that made me happier to go for it. I'm basically looking for a guy pal to do things with no living together, at least not for a couple of years or so.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

JUUUDDDY!!!!!! Yes you my dear of the great arm wraps. That is pure and total blackmail. I have no idea what happened to the Baileys's--never saw it again after the picture but then I don't drink so I would have looked for it. Just thought it would be funny if we arrived with a one for a picture. Oh well. Yes, Phyllis I am still upset about you not letting me bring Millie home with me for some training!! LOL She is indeed a cutie.

Well, ladies one meeting down and I don't even want to count have many to go until March 18th when we start the first setting up of vendors. Crissyr this is a festival I have been involved with for the past 19 years. It is staged (literally) in a botanical garden in Gainesville and yes, it is hard work but loads of fun. Check out our website: www.gardenfestival.org

Home now and exhausted so I will sign off and go to bed .

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

I'm heading for bed.. mind's in a fog.
See you in the morning.

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Good night Jaye....get to feeling better.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Oh fiddle Cindy, you're sounding just like me when I met Dave. Yesterday you were all ga ga over him being so affectionate, today you're saying 'it's nothing really and I'm thinking about moving on'. You're only feeling that way because he didn't call you all day and you don't want to get hurt. He said that if you find someone else to go ahead because he doesn't want to get hurt either, nor does he want to scare you away. You crack me up! ((((((((((((Go Fishing With Him))))))))))))))) LOL
BTW, it's the good looking ones that will hurt you in a heartbeat, just cause they're good looking doesn't mean they're good....and they might kiss their bikes at night.

Oh Marion, that is huge! How neat to have once a year but that would definitely be a lot of work. And I complain about my little 30 person conference every fall... lol

Well now that I've chewed Cindy out, I'm sorry Cindy but don't do that to yourself when you like and sorta already know someone, there are a lot of good guys out there but there are also a lot of nuts, and this one even has 'baggage' LOL

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Thanks for having a look Crissy. Yes it is huge but we have capped vendor spaces at 200 to keep it manageable. I think this year we are going to use "Celebrating 20 years" as our theme--loosely put.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Lol That's something to celebrate. You have to put a cap on it somewhere or you'll end up with 2000 vendors and nowhere to put them.

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

Went to a viewing tonight of a beautiful 16 year old girl. I feel God wanted her home now, she wasn't a happy girl, very sad indeed. Funeral is tomorrow, but I don't think I could handle that. I wanted to be there for my friend to help her overcome some of her sorrow.

Time to shut down the computer for today. More hot weather coming our way, and not looking forward to that either.

Get well Jaye!!

Coushatta, LA

Hi everyone!!!!Jaye, sorry i didn't call you back.We didn't get back until late.I will talk to you sometime tomorrow.

Bonjon, after 180 days we will be divorce.Their was no cheating or no kids so by March it will be over.

FLOYD, VA(Zone 6a)

Kim I love Eddie!! What a great friend for you.

Cody I feel your pain. Been there, done that ..twice. The first one was easy because he was abusive. The second time I feel bad about. Shouldn't have married the first guy to be nice to me. He was 20 years older and I wasn't mature enough to handle that. It is the hardest thing you will ever do.

Oh well, off to work.

Later girls...

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Crissy, you are so funny. Anyhoo.....I said I was just looking. I like to look at guys with motorcycles. I'm very attracted to the bad boy biker type, lol. Steve texted me again last night at about 10:30, but I was already sawing logs, lol. He had a great time fishing with his granddaughter and she caught 2 catfish. I will be talking with Steve later this morning. I just hoped he didn't over do it and have a relasp. I'm not letting him get away from me. We really haven't had a good chance to get to know each other yet. Besides he owes me a candle lite dinner, lol.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL Cindy!! Whenever I started new relationships I would get all ga ga then paranoid that he was going to quit talking to me, then maybe I wanted to quit talking to him, you know how it is.

Tiga's got a vet appt at 11:30 for her left shoulder or whatever the reason she keeps limping and I've got to clean my purse, her medical records are in there somewhere...lol!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

*sniffle**sniffle*
I hope this *sneezy thing* isn't the beginning of a cold.........o ya! I have my ColdFX
My cold will be gone today LOL (catch it when it first starts, and you never get a cold LOL)

Crissy & Jaye - a bottle for each of you is on it's way to you today!

Jaye - you mentioned that I need an assistant - I'll have THREE lol
We do teleconferences in 2 buildings, and ours (DSC) has the most, and some of them back-to-back and in two rooms at once lol
I'll do the administration of it, not the setting up. I have way too many meetings to manage to also do the teleconferences lol
This will all come about Oct 5th. That's only 2 weeks away!! I hope I can fit in some meetings for transition to the 3 asst's before then!

~Susan~

Coushatta, LA

Thanks Rvnsbrk.I'm not looking to get married again for a very long time. That is if i ever do,been Burn to many times.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Cody,
How old are you? When my hubby was killed that is what I thought too. But then I started getting really lonely. Sure I had my family and friends but there are things a woman needs from a man. Just to have a man hold you feels wonderful. When I met Steve the other day and we hugged it felt great and he even said the same thing. Just give yourself sometime to get over this heartache, have some fun and then think about dating again. I did not go out for at least a year after I lost my husband.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

(((((((((((Cindy))))))))))))
I can't fathom what it must be like to lose your DH that way.....
It's something I can't take in, but that I know will be in my (hopefully distant) future.
My DH is 60, and lord willing, will be around for another 30, but you never know.
More widows in this world than widowers, f'sure. We women are tough, so we last Forever! (this is a good thing, right?)

Cody - just think of us in Canada - 13 months before you can apply for a divorce!
When my ex & I decided to divorce (I asked him for one), after 2 1/2 mo, we said we'd tell them it'd been 13 months. We were married for 23 years, and knew each other well enuff that we knew it was Over. Heck, in marriage counselling he was told to "do something thoughtful each day for Susan" and he turned to me (I swear, this is what he said!) and said "If I forget, will you remind me?!"
You should have seen the counsellor's face DROP!
I knew right there and then that he didn't love me. He didn't even hear himself saying it!
Ah well, that was 13 years ago, and I've been married to Bob, my DH for almost 11 years (Oct 10th). He & I are meant for each other. One thing my Bob Won't Do is "put me on a shelf and forget about me". That's why I'm not with my ex. NO ONE does that to me anymore..........

oh oh..... I'm venting LOL sorry all...

Partnerships are different for all of us, and while some rush in ill-advisedly and repent immediately, others just "know" when the right one steps into our lives and need to "grab the bull by the horns". when I met Bob, I KNEW he was right, and we clicked immediately.

Cindy & Cody - whatever works for you, in relationships, is what works - you each are individuals, and need to remember that.

oh, oh....... I'm on my soapbox again LOL

(Ouch) who kicked me off, this time? LOL ROFLMFBO!

cya l8tr - I'd better leave before I get started again LOL

~Susan~

Coushatta, LA

Cindy,i'm 31.No i'm not crying over Rob or heartbroken.I will fine someone when the time is right.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Glorious Sunday ladies.

Wasn't up to par for anything yesterday, but slept almost all day. Didn't even had any appetite. All I can say, is whatever I have/had.. I got it bad.
Had 101 fever yesterday. Kel was pretty upset as I refused to see the doctor Friday, and instead, had taken some Amoxillin meant for the furbabies. So I downed another bottle yesterday and told him that once I start barking, then rush me to the vet. Apparently that worked :D
Woof!

For the first time, Kel was forced to look out for all the plants (I tend to have surprise nooks and crannies stuffed with them) when watering, and he was amazed at how lush they are, even when some of the leaves were razed by darn locusts. He has always support my love of gardening, but being too busy with his work and his parents, he couldn't help me much.
This time, he'd be quick to hire help for the garden when I need it.

So, today, we'll miss church. That's the smart thing to do right? Instead of spreading germs to unsuspected victims?

Well Susan...that's my story too, kinda similar. In my case, my ex brought up our 'plight' to my former pastor. (Wanting a sympathetic ear)
When the pastor discovered that I wasn't having an affair, as accused, he then asked whether we'd be willing to work it out again, under his counseling. I replied, all according to His will. While my ex remained mum.. pastor told him to call him if he agreed. Which he never did.

You're a smart one Cody. When you're not looking, God will land one at your feet ;)

Assuming my normal chores today. I should be able to talk to my furry babies right?

Coffee's on.. big breakfast spread of eggs done your way, except poached... biscuits, sausage, ham, cheese, wheat toasts, sourdough toasts, pancakes and sugar free syrup.

Have a beautiful Sunday!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Morning everyone!
Jaye do we have to come up there, and take you to the DR? You know better, with all these flus and crap going around, you need to go and get the proper meds please? You woud be giving us all the same info!
We love you, and don't like to see any of the girls sick!
Thanks for the breakfast! But you are back in bed right?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Hehehehee... yes M'am. I'm back in bed... rolled to the stove...

Tomorrow, the Dr.'s office will be opened, and I'm able to see the P.A.

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Jaye: DON'T take veterinary meds! They don't put them through the same rigorous testings as they do people meds! Wrong dosing, etc! GO TO THE DOCTOR! We want you with us a while longer!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Love you too Audrey!!
I know I'll get some reaction about taking my babies' meds!!
A long time ago, a vet friend told me to get some amoxillin.. a certain strength from the pharmacist for one of my rescues.
So I figured that might help some. It's at 250mg/5ll. And I have just that.. a whole brand new bottle.

Last time I was feeling real bad, I was kept under observation for a day at the hospital :( He could have just given me the antibiotics and sent me home!

Hmm.. please don't report Kel to the SPCA.

Well, I'm feeling much better. Head's not in a fog... sinuses are running clear, not stuffed! Best part, no low grade fevers.
