BORN BEFORE THE WIND...more Gypsy Stories
Night Julie....sorry about the Bills....maybe next week....grin
Bon Soire All. Hope you have a lovely evening....time to get the kid off to bed and don't think I'll be too far behind him. sweet sleep....happy morning...Moon
I looked on DG and they have that one in many colors, from purple to pink and nearly white. What color is yours?
Moom, I looked at the photos and read the history. But why is everything so mossy? Is it because it gets flooded so often? Or is it because of the weather there?
when you put Passiflora x belotii in just like that it is the second one down "Imperatrice Eugenie"
The castle structures are over 60 years old and made from a homemade concrete mix that has eroded some over the years, allowing moss etc to collect in the small pits in the concrete. The park is located in the Queensland Tropical Rainforest, so there is a great deal of moisture on everything out there all the time. Additionally, it is located between the ocean and mountains which also contributes to the moisture, and it is surrounded by Mena Creek....water water everywhere.....grin
sounds like my kinda place Moon...ok I can't keep my eyes open anymore....I'm taking my flu infected self to bed...
Good Night everyone
I knew you would enjoy it Rachel...the flora and fauna are fantastic also......tons of critters just doing their thing.....magical place. grin
Moon, no wonder it has moss everywhere. I was surprised that they used railroad ties for reinforcement in the concrete. That is amazing that it had such heavy duty reinforcement.
It was built to last, or so Jose thought....they are doing a lot to try to shore up the buildings and stairways. The last flood there went half way up that incredibly long staircase.....the lower 8 to 10 acres was underwater....but it survived...
I guess I just didn't read enough on that site. It has some spooky critters there also.
Well, I am really tired tonight even though I don't have the flu and not all drugged up!
Take care of yourself Trina! We want you to get well fast.
Goodnight everyone! Have a restful and peaceful sleep!
Puppyface woke me up

Morning everybody
Morning All. DH got to the computer before me this AM. Trina, look for the Fedex man, maybe tomorrow. I brought your witch doctor coleus to mail. Hope it makes it OK.
Imzadi and Trina, don't forget the chicken soup!
Lynn, yes, at least The Bills showed up this time. DH predicted the outcome before the whole thing fell apart. I said "no-o" he said "you watch..." and they did. oh well.
Everyone have a good day!

Trina I cut a few flowerheads of fthe agastache this AM, they're loaded with seeds. The bees were sleeping so it was a good time to do it lol
Morning Moon! Smiley!
woohoo Lynnie...I got to go dig up some rose trees this morning, I don't feel like it but I need too
Trina reminds me of the little old ladies I used to take care of they would pour out doses of nyquil and sip them before bed, like a nightcap :)
Moon where are those chocolate laced croissants? I LOVE croissants warm & dripping with butter...
like Rie said I feel like a I gt hit by a mac truck ad he's still parked on my chest....thankfully I seem to be getting better
Unfortunately, they are also in Australia....haven't found anyplace here that makes them. They were so cool....thin strands of dark chocolate spiraling all through warm bread.....nummy
cool...my mom bought me a little potted pink one and I was wondering how they seeded...I like the yellow too....look like frilly witch's hats...LOL
Okay, off to work at the nursery for a few hours....no telling what Zap has going today...bet it is probably pruning the spiral junipers....may be sorry I ever let on I know how.....grin at least this time I think he's down to only a dozen. Have a great day All....
This is the Autumn Fire Sedum which is 14" at the tallest. The color is more like the middle flower. There is a baby one in front. That is how big this plant was at the beginning of the season. The mother plant was completely damaged.
The celosia were only about 1-2" tall when I found them at the end of June. Most of my flowers were damaged but managed to find a few tiny ones and moved them there.
Sorry, that is not the one I wanted to show you! Let me try it again.
ok
those are neat!
