I wish I could have passed up the clearance rack but know I just HAD to look and of course that plant just jumped right in my cart and before I knew it it was in the jeep.....so I guess i will have to give it a home

Trina, do you have any Witch Doctor coleus? Mine got all leggy so I was going to cut it and try to root it. If you want some, I will send..

Moon, Beatle shows remind me of how much I like them. This one was really different.

Happy Saturday to all. I'm going to get my mom, have to find small gardening projects for her to do in her elderly state. But she really likes helping.

Kassy, your mother's orange daylily is very pretty with a very unique middle. Also, nice find in your berry patch!

Seed tosser, very lovely rose!

JJ, you are so good to those people! You are worth every bit of that $1.10 an hour! lol That is so funny! And you even got her new clothes! If they buy you a weedeater for you to use, they probably will drop over knowing the price. I can't believe that they are so isolated that they are decades behind!

I skipped over to the new thread. Hope everyone is going there.

Trina, and who ever else was not around when I posted this.......................
Meet Footless!
How does he got around? Wing Power. And believe it or not, he can get around on those footless legs just as good as all the other chickens we have. The only problem he has is, he can't roost. :-(

he's a might fine mascot, pardner!

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

He had what is called Bumblefoot. It is usually caused first by an abrasion to the skin of the foot pad and then an infection sets in causing the large growth on the bottom of the chickens foot. It doesn’t have to be a wide open cut just a small scrape or light abrasion to the foot pad will be enough to cause a problem.
We lost 2 chickens to it, a very pretty hen, (I know, somepeople don't think chickens are pretty), and a young Easter Egg chicken that my BF really liked.

OOPS, I better go give the dog his pill!

Such a pretty day, I am enjoying working outside...
Does anybody enjoy an outdoor fire? Decided I will do that tonight...Been a very long time.
