what? caused problems do tell

Yes, someone just changed the name a little bit and almost started fights with others in plant ID.
That was way before I talked to Dave, but I could tell that it wasn't him. Then someone called it to everyones attention that the name was just a little different. Dave said he got some not so nice d-mails at that time.

oh I could imagine...I guess I just don't understand why someone would do that....what does his name mean anyway?

i guess I must be weird and I have his spelling memorized cause I always go Metro as in city...side..and ros...when I spell it, so I would have noticed..because with my brain going funny I sometimes have to break words down like "immediately" or i can't remember anymore

speaking of Dave...he hasn't popped in yet...maybe he had a date..LOL

Dave ID'ed this as a Sicyos, star cucumber. And then proceded to tell me it was a very rare plant, indagered even. I found it while I was picking berries.
Lynn told me to hurry up and put the rest of the pictures in before I found Dave in the berry patch..............LOL

oh wow that's cool...I never find anything neat in the woods....I will be taking my camera out tomorrow cause dave wanted some pictures of our natural plants

That why he got lots of pictures from the forty when my BF and I went there.............Including very colorful mushrooms, or rather toadstools. We plan on going out there with it in the spring again. BF said the blossoms are white, yellow and purple.

It's finally raining here, perfect timing. I extended 2 areas to plant in the spring (can i call them garden beds when I have no idea what i'm doing? lol) One is a shrub border where I'm going to put one of my big rocks and move Harry there. Harry Lauder. I'm just wild about Harry.
The other is the area I posted pics of on some other thread, many threads ago, where the rock-garden-fountain-dry- creek area will be (still haven't quite nailed that down). I need trees & shrubs there for privacy & windbreak and shade (near my not so weepy crabapple).
Kassy I've never tried collecting seeds, thanks for the info...someday I'll give it a shot.

Yes I am staying on the ground...this witch does not intend to do anymore flying...and no the soreness isn't completely gone...but at least I can move...wouldn't want to try to walk a marathon though...baby steps

Morning moon. Hands not sore but itched like crazy for awhile. Since I had sprayed the roundup alot of it was dieing so came up pretty easy.
What really peed me off was when I got them out all the dead weeds from last years professional was still laying there. Think for a couple grand he could have come back and cleaned them up after they died.

My DH wants to by an industrial weed eater. The couple told me to go ahead and buy one I just don't think we need to spend alot (just cause they can afford it) because I know they are going to have to face reality and move ( I think within the next year or two) and they won't neeed it then

She needed some new blouses and she is use to Younkers, Bergners ect. I bought her 2 at Kmart on the clearance rack for $2 each and the jeans were on sale for $10.

She was not upset she said " I guess I can afford that".
She was wearing them the otherday and commented on how comfortable she was in them.

I was at Lowes the other day clearance rack full of plants. I was proud of myself I didn't buy anything. Reminded myself if I bought them I had to plant them and I am going to have to start a new flowerbed.

Wasn't up for that this late in season.

I was looking at few things in a couple of nurseries....I just need to start with the bigger stuff & work my way down to the smaller stuff.

You have some big projects going on there.
I only have room for little stuff here. One of your rocks would take half my yard. lol

You take good care of your friends, Pam....they are lucky to have you looking out for them. So many times people take advantage of folks in their situation....good on you. Glad she found the clothes comfortable....needs to be a bit frugal after paying you such "inflated wages" grin....with your earnings you could almost afford a couple of those blouses yourself.....grin

It is really hard to figure out just which ones will be perfect isn't Lynn? Especially when there are so many beauties just aching for a place in your garden.....I have to keep a close check on myself cuz there are so many things I want and just so much space and not everything will do well here.....very few conifers/evergreens....
