Oh yeah!
Good way to get rid of frustrations, too!
Hackberry Trees, etc, #7
Got home about 4PM and just finished going through the mail. Oh my goodness what a mess Mattie and Chester were. Didn't get to see the neighbors to get the full story. They were both muddy and Chester's long hair on his ears actually had mud balls all tangled up.
Mattie was some better but not much. First thing Mike had to do was bathe them both as I grabbed the broom. Was told it has been raining here all week and they have been going in and out. BIG MESS. They are both conked out now in their own doggie beds. I am not far behind. ........and it is still raining. Rain gauge only went to 5 inches so we don't really know how much rain we got. It has been emptied and is filling once again. As expected, the brugs are blooming like crazy. Would really like to see them in the sunshine. Prediction is for at least 2 more days of rain. Feast or Famine it seems.
Sooooo glad to be home to my own bed. Really a big time homebody.
Love you both.
Christi
Good to hear you're back, Christi.
Thanks for all that news during the trip.
Fascinating. Almost felt I was there with you, Mike and friends.
Sorry about the state of the two little rascals and the cleanup for you and Mike.
Still, home, sweet home!
Charlie
Glad you are home, Christi..missed all the Texas news.
Rest well in your home sweet home bed.
Gotta call it a night, dragged in too many houseplants today and I am weary!
You all have a good night.
Remind me to post pictures tomorrow.
Hold that thought, Charlie, I'm going to start a new thread for us...
Be right back, just give me a minute or two.
Let's pick up our bags and go here:
