Thanks, ladies. Dnut - the japonica ones do.
Garden Photo's 42 & 1/10th
I don't know why I keep looking up things that have 'japonica' in the name. They are always too genteel for my climate. That is my new expression. Instead of 'not-hardy-no-how-no-way-here' I say, 'O what a luvly genteel plant. What a shame that it doesn't have the kickbutt attitude needed to survive in my garden'. ^_^
Thanks guys.
Victor, your anemone is beautiful and subtle.
Yes, Indeed! Celeste, what time do you expect to arrive tomorrow?
Yes, they would go nice together. I want some pink ones.
Louise, I have it in a container on the deck and nope no flopping.
Hope you have a great time tomorrow take lots of pics!
I should arrive around 11:30 -12 providing DH doesn't get lost. ^_^
great shots Victor... love those huge blooms Jen!!
Allison, didn't Michelle get one of those dahlias at Ric and Holly's?
hhhmm I will have to ask... I know I have one too.. not too much blooming in the dahlia department here.. I planted them too late
I am excited, got curry leaf plants( murraya koenigii) yesterday and multiple rounds of trying to grow them from seeds. I hope they live.
Fantastic picture Victor
Flowerjen - That's interesting. Some of mine are standing up tall and others are flopping around on the ground. Either way, I like them. I need to be pulling things up here soon so they can dry out before I put them away for winter, but it's dang hard to pull up a plant at its peak! We missed you, Jen!
Victor - the colors and contrasts in that shot are spectacular!!! How was the Army game yesterday with your boys? We all sure missed you too!
Thank you, Jo Ann and Louise! The game was great, Louise. Looks like you had a great time and a perfect day. You guys are blessed to have such a gorgeous place. I posted some Army game pics on the weather thread.
We are very blessed....and thankful too! Sharing it is the best part! I don't know why I never seem to keep the weather thread on my "watched" list! I'll go find it now.... glad you had fun!
Awww, Louise I so wish I could have been there.
I keep threatening hubby that I'm going to be vactioning without him so maybe next year???
victor that is not to contrasty - very nice combo
Thanks.
That "last one" is beautiful! I'll want to see it again in Feb. We got down to 35 degrees also--while I enjoy fall, I hate what it portends....
Very prettiful, Celeste.
