Hope she's sleeping now.

Ohhh 2 beautiful pics.
Phyllis, the couple look so in bliss. Beautiful pic.. but somehow it's cut in half? Show us more will you. Or add me as a friend. Jaye Blanchard.

LK, that picture is what I need to calm me down this morning. Thank you for showing me what's been missing in my garden. You captured it well.

Okay.. okay... I'm late and will miss bible class this morning. Thank God, I'm not teaching it :D

Good Morning!!! Been up since 8:30! I'm so proud of myself... LOL

Lol Jaye, have a good class, see u later.

It was supposed to be 60% storms yesterday, we got all planned for it, got one little rain shower around 11am. So sorry.

I just want to brag a minute lol me and Dave had the best day yesterday! Absence does make the heart grow fonder! Anyway, we piddled around the house, he did some housework while I was next door visiting over there. Went to Little Rock to JC Penney, had a great Chinese Food lunch, he bought all kinds of shirts, Gold Toe Socks, and a pair of shoes. Last night we went to Hot Springs, got there too late to do the Blues Festival but visited a friend we hadn't seen in a long time on the main street, he works at a club called Maxine's, had the best thin crust pizza, watched a set of a Blues band, and were home by 10:30. Love it when that happens!

I'm so excited because we have today and tomorrow together! Woo Hoo!

Synda, my prayers are going out to both Michael and Rachael and their families. Praying she isn't going to have any long term affects from this and makes it through. I bet Michael is absolutely frantic.

Fostoria, OH(Zone 5a)

Phyllis I'm so glad things went well at the wedding. You worked very hard to see that things went smoothly and it paid off! The garden was beautiful and I know everyone appreciated the natural setting. Now sit back and rest on your laurels, my friend, you deserve to be very proud of yourself! Now you and DD can enjoy the pictures together.

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

oh yeah I'm glad it's over as far as the hustle and bustle of it all
My mom helped me gather up the chairs and I folded up the tables after wards so it is all ready for the tent renters to pick up Monday.

we just finished up the few odds and ends of picking up and putting away of stuff. ...so now it is be lazy today

Jaye I added you on facebook
and anyone else can find me Phyllis Hackman

FLOYD, VA(Zone 6a)

Going now to look at the pics Phyllis...

LK that is an awesome picture of the hummers. We have some here, but they never tolerate each other in such close proximity. Sometimes we get a two fer at a feeder, but not like you have! WOW!

Jan it is so good to see you back. Did you ever get another puppy?

Ready for a lazy day. Been working all week like a fiend to get ready for a garden visit today. It looks as good as it is going to get, and my body has had enough. 6 yards of mulch, a path, 12 azaleas and much more. I am officially toast. :0).

See ya'll later,
Juanita

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Woke up to a black rainy day...haven't seen it rain this hard in a very long time. We are getting a few bright spots but the report is for mostly wind and rain throughout the day, maybe a few tomorrow then back to summer for the rest of the week.

OH, I can't imagine having that many hummers at once!!! I get one regular, occasionally two...guess I need to work on more Hummer Flowers for next year.

UMmm Panini's look good Jaye...

Crissy sounds like a wonderful time!

Phyllis, now you can relax and get some rest.

Waving to everyone....since there isn't a bike ride this morning will have to see what we can get into....

Rain has let up and the dog thinks she might go out now.....will check in later.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Paninis - hmmmm don't think I've ever had them, but they sure look good!
I can get the panini bread, so think I'll do that sometime ^_^

9 hummers!! o wow!! I used to get ONE when I was in Winnipeg, now we don't have ANY here (maybe I should put up a hummer feeder? LOL

I'm going to look @ some pics on FaceBook, Phyllis lol

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Count again, there are 11 of them! We must have sat, and watched them for about an hour!

Hey Bob, what s wrong with you? You need to get rid of the crud, and get to feeling better!

LK

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

I'm so jealous! Whenever more than one come to my feeder, they chase the other one off!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Gooooooooooooood Morning!
Rise and shine for that Labor Day sale! Not a day of shopping for this house... maybe online.

All concerned prayers brought along to church yesterday.

Synda, if you're lurking...
I have a good friend who was assaulted by robbers and they bashed his head unmercifully. He suffered from a fractured skull. Doctors induced coma, did some surgery and he survived. But the recovery road was a long one.
Praying that Rachel will survive this.

Off to 'work' so catch with you all later!

Hope you all have a beautiful day today.

Coffee's on, Southern breakfast ladies. Grits and butter this morning :D

Hi everyone

Sorry Ive been misiing but am not feeling well. My sinusses are giving me one heck of a fit. Spent the day yesterday cleaning and washing everything while eating benadryl. Slept 12 hours last night but still feeling kinda crapy..

Bella went into heat yesterday too so while online I was reading up on that most of the time. This is her first and shes sooo confused...

Max started the rebuild on a pole barn yesterday... He was digging post holes all day and not a happy camper when he got home.. Thank goodness he doesnt have to go back until tomorrow after I go to work.. He snoozed right along with me..

LK love your hummers. I never have had any around except the one lonely one in florida that came around to visit.. I really need to get a feeder for here..

Got through with helping Kel. 1st. part of morning task is done :D

How's the weather there LK? It's in the 70's this morning and about to hit the mid-80's.

Cookie, how are the grandbabies and your dad? I bet you spend a lot of time just gazing at your beautful waterfall.

Urggh.. sinuses can definitely put a damper to 'fun'! Looks like your family had a blast Donna. I don't blame Tristen. I'm an adult and will definitely head for the miniature horses.
Poor Max. If he's off today, he needs to give his body a whole day rest.

Bonnie, hope you're feeling better today.

BBL

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Hey Jaye, still kinda warm here. It was 93 yesterday, a lot better than the 100+ we have had! Right now it is 80. Nice and cool!
Donna, take care of those sinus'. Looks like it is that time of year for them to kick in?

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Morning Ladies,

Well Larry turned out to be a jerk, lol. Very vain, not hair out of place to prissy for me. So I am chatting with another guy Steve, he is a truck driver, 50, lives in Sacramento, and we are meeting for lunch today. I'm so nervous. We had been sending emails back and forth for about a week now and yesterday we chatting on IM for about 2 hours so he asked to meet. Kept telling me how pretty I was, lol. So I will tell you all about it when I get back. TTYL ^_^

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Good luck Sistah!!
Now we're all the anxious ones. Learning not to worry about Cindy.. she's a big gal!!

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

hmmmmm she is that, but we can still worry about a sistah!

Good morning, everyone!
very cool & overcast here - 11c / 51F.............brrrrrrrrrrrrr
only supposed to get to 17c / 63F today
BUT it's supposed to be nicer next w/e - 27c / 80F - better!!

Take care - I'll be sewing most of the day lol

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

Cindy seems to be doing fine in filtering out the guys on line. Pictures don't tell us the whole story that's for sure.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

I hope all goes well at the lunch....don't be too nervous to eat!

The grandbabies are fine, Jaye, thanks for asking. Speaking of grandbabies, Jordyn is doing so well with her insulin pump. They took her from being "uncontrolled" to "controlled". Her Walk for a Cure is coming up the first weekend in October, and I thank all of you who donated to the cause last year. It meant so much to me, and to Jordyn and Lisa, too. You sistahs are the best!

Dad is doing good right now, although, Mom says she's worrying about his memory. Says sometimes she has to tell him how to get out of a parking lot. Well, at 91, my memory would probably be tired, too...hope that's all it is. Mom is getting over Shingles. Poor thing, they were on her left side and back and were really ugly looking. She didn't dress for almost a week because they were so painful. She's on the mend now though.

I have been spending a lot of time at the pond. So peaceful. Here's some of the gang...

Happy Labor Day sisters!

prayers and hellos to everyone for a gentle day

FLOYD, VA(Zone 6a)

Howdy All!

Been out shopping for essentials and a birdhouse. :) Had to give up on the handmade one. No time to finish it here since things are suddenly crazy work wise.

Just flying by to check on you and make sure no one is getting into trouble. Except Cindy of course. ;).

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Good afternoon, everyone!

I'm busy trying to clean house, do laundry and dishes, get some sewing done on my Signature Blocks, and get my DH moving off the couch. He tells me I need to make a new bag for our new (to us) tent cuz the one that came with it is rather torn. It's a 10-person tent, so you can imagine the size the bag would have to be LOL
Good thing I have a lot of material for the bag LOL
Once I do that, he says he'll store the camping stuff until Sept 25th, when we're heading out camping again :-)
I know I haven't posted the pics from the last trip, however I guess I have That To Do, too LOL

~Susan~

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Cloudy and raining right now...this is supposed to be the last day of rain this week and back into the 70-80's through the weekend.....

Sage is staying over tonight since school starts on Wednesday......Laura is busy being nervous about her job interview tomorrow....I sooooo hope she gets this job!

Bill has promised to help with some projects today so had better get going before he changes his mind.

Everyone have a great day.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Cookie, I'm just 54 and already losing it!! By the rate my memory's going, nothing to worry about when I hit 80... nothing to rememember!!
On a serious note, I am sure you've already made plans as to how to take care of him when your mum can't do it by herself.
Proud of Jordyn. She's lucky to be here where we're more informed on Juvenile Diabetes and she's not isolated at school. Not so in France unfortunately.
My niece doesn't have any friends there. She's treated as though she's carrying a disease :*( How I wish she'd agree to live here.

Juanita, at least birdhouses can be found easily! You can still make one, so you'll be prepared for next year!

Gosh.. I'm glad I didn't join that Signature Block, Susan. Got too many on my plate right now :D Now, don't you need a sturdier material like duck cloth or canvas, for the tent?
Not holding my breath for pics!!! Nope.. no.. nada!!

Trisha, I bet Laura's chewing on her nails right now. We'll be praying for her.
Ahh... Sage will be going over what happen in school for the first few days with you!! Good thing you and Bill are so patient with her!

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

I have sturdy peplin for the bag, Jaye
It's been so long since I've quilted that I forget somethings................
funny thing is - I looked at the pattern, and you re-cut some pieces to make them smaller (end up with 8 pieces) however........... I cut 8 originals, then cut them down, so sometimes I have 4x the amount, and sometimes 8x the amount needed LOL
I have loads to make other squares LOL
Now, if I can only get the machine to be nice to me .........siiiiiiiiiigh

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Good luck Susan!!
I'm glad it's you doing that and not me!! Now don't you go blaming on the machine if the seams don't match!

Off to the store to get more food for the furkids. I need to buy stocks in Purina! Not shares.. but stocks!
Might just grab a sandwich at Walmart.

See you all later

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

Camping in a tent when my boys were young was certianly one of the fun things I remember the most. Boys would go fishing with dad and I did manage to keep myself busy (can't remember just how anymore). Had a lot more energy then too.

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

Hi Girls.........Update on Rachel. They brought her out of the coma and took her off the ventilator. She seems to be doing good, can't remember some things. But is majorly complaining about being in the hosp,She very loudly stated ,"SHE WANTS TO GO HOME"......LOL.

Hope you all have had a great holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Synda that is great news! PTL! We will continue healing prayers for her.
Thanks for the update.
Good night everyone!
LK

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

Evenin girls...well son & GF and lil one are on the train headed back to Illinois. it left at 6:15 tonight ....
I held it together as long as I could so he wouldn't see me cry at him leaving ...made it hard when the while time he was here he kept saying he didn't want to go back
I told him to do what he has to do and save money to move back here after the baby is born.

Oh and everyone that is asking about the fudge monkeys I have plenty left but by the time I would get them to you they would be mush LOL
so next time we get together I will make some to bring with me as I do have the molds LOL

Prayers for everyone

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Oh Phyllis I know that must have been hard to do! I don't know if I could have managed it--I cry so easily.

Hold on to the mold as we will definitely hold you to the fudge monkies!!!

Take care and night all.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Amen! Amen and Amen!!! Need to read of this good news and myself again am amaze at how Our Lord is so merciful. PTL!
Synda, my church family will be so happy to hear this!
Wonderful news indeed.

Phyllis, I love the groom's shirt. Is that what they called a poet's/troubador shirt like in the Renaissance period? Anyway, your girl certainly glows!

Stand back Maid M.. Kel will be the first in line for the fudge monkeys!
LOL---- his reasoning? Well, he says, since he's always 'aping' around.. he might as well be the first to get those treats!!

Susan, I hope you're through with the blocks.

Lids are heavy. An early morning again tomorrow. Seems these busy days are seamless for us. I am just glad that Kel has a very strong back, and He certainly has been carrying us through some rough times.

Please pray for Laura's interview tomorrow. All the best for her.

Good night, and again, we'll give thanks to Him for Rachel.
