Well, I meant the one before that. But that one, too. Your grandparents look like they weren't afraid to have a good time. Hope they are still like that.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Unfortunately, they're both gone.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Fantastic shots Victor! Thanks for sharing.

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Sadly gone, but not forgotten! They were movie stars! Great pics!

Thomaston, CT

All the photos I have of my grandparents are stiff & posed---those photos are much nicer---shows them as more "real".

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks. Hopefully they're having fun once again.

Woodinville, WA(Zone 8b)

I think they must be. Just look at them. How could they not? They are somewhere having martinis and waiting for us to join them at that cocktail party . . .

I will scan some pix. If I remember right someone on this forum loves motorcycles. My day had 18 or so......................... I found the album the other day. Stay tuned.

My father was into Indian Motorcycles big time. He had 19 of them. I found some pictures the other day. I will do a few today but getting aggrevated scanning and tweeking them. I did not take these awful pictures! I did take some but cant find them. So here we go.

4 are in this pic. I will get into a few details individually.

I cant remember the years on these as the registrations went with the bikes as they were sold. I had to sell these after my dad passed away. This is an Indian Chief. It was called Rainbow and here it sits at the waterline on Daytona Beach.

All the Chiefs had what was called a suicide clutch.

As dad got into these he started riding with the Blue Knights. I belive it was retired police that did runs. The last one he took this bike and went from some place to Canada. He took this bike. They basically went from the mid 30's to very early 40's

I remember nothing about this one except when I sold it - it went to Canada.

This is an Indian Scout named Peanut Butter. It was sold to a guy on Cape Cod. There is some kind of an Indian Reservation or club down there. You see a brown Indian cycle down there - this is the one. (pic stinks)

edited: it looks better in the very 1st picture!

Now get ready

Pay attention

I will be done but you will see a part of History, and I am not joking.

He is a yellow Indian Chief sitting in Daytona Beach Florida. My father would go down every year and ride the motorcycles around. This one was sold I belive in 1985

This makes no sense, well it does to me. The bike was sold to Tom Cruise. If you watch the movie Days of Thunder. My father sold him the bike. Here is the Bill of Sale. It must of been his manager at the time. And it didnt go for no 12,000 pesco's. Or what ever that says.
