That is great Mechelle. Don't forget pictures when they bloom.

Well I would put in a bid but just got thru packing up everything I have extra to send to arejay for the newbies. All that I bid with in the iris auction went in the pkg so I have nothing much left.

Question for all of you that have tried ca poppies. Is it better to send seeds or plants? I have both, and mine reseed no problem, so am not worried about running out! LOL!

Wow Mekos!! What a cool plant!!!!

Yea Seray, may be one for you if they can be seperated. Two are close nit at the bottom. They were pretty wilted but look to be in great shape. When it's a little cooler, I'll re pot them and seperate them so you can have one. Going to watch for a little bit and see that they do ok. They weren't in dirt just wrapped with wet towel and so they got to rehydrate.

Mekos! You are a generous friend. Let that cutie grow and grow. We'll work a deal when it gets lots of babies. I may have to go to Thailand and load up. :)

He sent me 3 but two are joined at the root system and I just want to be sure they make it, but one is definately yours. Just waiting to let them rehydrate. Maybe the weather will go to 70's and 80's soon and stay long enough to ship. I can't wait for you to get this one.

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

LOL.. mekos.. if i had seed to bid, I'd be riiight int he middle of that battle!

I've been looking for seed. I'll keep trying. :) We'll sprout a Amorph if I can find some. The only ones so far are the Pink Devil's Tongues that I'm sprouting with the Brugs. They're cool.

I have several of these I might could be persueded to part with one for something VERY special.

I love that picture Mekos. It reminds you that generations of people from all over the world have shared the same passion as you. Kinda cool.

Thanks Seray. She was a sweet lady. I gave her, her first candy lily and she gave me my first cobra lily. That one. I sowed seeds for this one- whip cord lily. It is also a cobra lily. Amorphophallus.

Another strange looking flower, Jan. What's up with you and all these strange looking flowers - lol?????

Shepherdsville, KY

After the flowers die you will see the green circle pods on them. Wait till they turn a tan color & they will come right off. You will have lots of seeds in the pod.

Shepherdsville, KY

Now is a good time to plant hollyhocks if you want to see blooms next summer :-)

Sundance, WY(Zone 3b)

Cool! Thanks! I don't have any planted now, but the house on the corner, (empty and for sale) has quite a few, and there are also a bunch growing in the alley behind the grocery store. Guess I'll have to take the dog for a walk! LOL!

You go girl, they may be needed for tonights surprise. Go walk that dog and take a baggie with you , several ,for different things you might find out there.

Sundance, WY(Zone 3b)

Yep, she needs to lose about 5 lbs. anyway! Not to mention how much good it might do me, LOL! S'pose I might find some I might want to keep for myself, even. But if there's alot in a pod, there should be enough for both the newbies and me!
