2009 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds Vol. 6

thank you.. this is the first year I felt the need to stake the AG desert sunrise up... usually it rains.. droops and then stands back up.. this year just getting pounded with rain it's not recovering as fast.. but it's on it's 3rd year and so far so good

Yes, beautiful one at the Agastache, onewish! I just put that one in this year too! Nice to know that I might have to stake it.

LOL! I've seen my crazy little hummingbirds do that too Charleston. I try to be somewhat still when they come to feed because I always sit close to watch, but sometimes they do the funniest things and I can't help but laugh. And of course they either fly off or they just fly away alittle ways to look at me. They have such character.

Taken just now, hummer on the honeysuckle.

The light was just behind him so I knew this wouldn't be it's best but here is the same hummer on the feeder. This one is fairly friendly.
