Thanks for the compliment Phoebe, I am feeding something older that I had sitting around for a year or so, MG Liquid AV Plant Food 7-7-7.
I feed every watering, about 10 drops to a half gallon spring water.
I also must say that my plants came from MsBonnie and a member of another forum, so they were all healthy and well cared for stock!
They are under brand new 40w bulbs, one warm, one cool, for about 10hrs per day, sometimes more, or a little less, which I think is the reason for the crazy amount of buds I have. I have the variegated plants away from the center area where the light is the strongest. At first I was leaving my lights on for 15 hours a day, but started getting the tight crowns and rusty color to the leaves, too much light.

Here are two Funambole leaves that produced about 3 (i think) babies...I included my fingers to show scale, do you all think the babies are big enough to separate and pot up? Getting pretty crowded in this pot.

I can't wait to see this one bloom, supposedly dark purple with pink stripes and speckles!

Beautiful pics, jmp!! Love that Mini Minx..........and I agree with you about variegation. The foliage is so pretty you don't even care if you get blooms.

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

They are plenty big to pot up I think..................and Funambule is a great looking bloom, too.......

My variegated plants are my best bloomers, but they are so wonderful, I don't care. Love variegation and frilly ones if they are green.

Pot 'em up! (then send them to me--not Jim!) ^_^

oh, that is pretty, Lynn. Phoebe, looks like at least 2 little plants, I think maybe three. If they make it, I'd be happy to send you one, nice pink variegation and you can see how pretty the flowers are in the pic Gail posted...

I pulled apart the little Funambole babies, there are three...as long as I can be sure one will make it for me, I need to find homes for the other two in the fall...

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I will trade you in the fall for one..........had her and lost her.............jmp!!!

Medford, NJ

ok Gail, will write your name on one

The Funambule you sent me last year, Gail, is the most beautiful AV I've ever been able to grow. It's the one that got so big. The middle leaves were standing straight up because they couldn't get light for all the flowers, so I disbudded it so the middle leaves would get light and lay back down. They have and now it's putting up a whole new flush of leaves! I expect it will be even more gorgeous this time!

Edited to add, I meant a whole new flush of buds, not leaves. LOL Though it is still putting on new leaves, too. :o)

Rain, that is why I jumped in line with jmp for one. I saw that picture you posted of the most gorgeous plant and thought to myself, "Why did I ever quit growing Funambule"?

Everyone deserves to get to see again what she looks like...........

Hi Jen,

I just love it! Can't wait to get together. I'll have to send you an updated list so you can choose some more varieties for yourself. September 10th will be here before we know it. I'll have to get directions from you for the club meeting.

Have a great day!

Pat

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Lucky that you and Jen will be in the same violet club!!!!
