Pretty phlox wc. I really like that second one, very pretty. Full Moon has had good reviews so I have high hopes for it. The color is a nice shade of buttery yellow, not too pale but not screaming at you either. Plant is about two feet tall but I can't count on anything being normal this year with all the rain, so year two will be a better gauge for these new plants and how they perform.
I have a tall sea holly 'Sapphire Blue', it was around 30-36 inches tall and bloomed in late may-early june this year.
OOO is that a cosmos? Pretty.
Garden Photo's 09.....#37
Luv the colour on that cosmos. Which one is it? I grew Candy Striped this year but there are no solids in that mix. I think I might mix the Candy Striped with a solid one like that next year.
Got those in a mixed seed pack from thompson & morgan, real troopers, (survived the spring! lol). My other huge 5-6' ones are still growing. I let them flop down and then get a whole lot of flowers coming from the ground, love the effect...
36" not so bad, may put them in front of something bigger, want to see if the hollys like our soil...
Cornflowers I planted, ('experimental venture'), from seed, to see if they would take here, really need a whole bunch to have a nice show...
Are they Centaurea cyanus? Mine seed all over the place but they are easy to weed out where I don't want them.
Yep, that's the one, they wouldn't become invasive here either. I'm hoping to get some re-seed for next year, they're so much stronger when they reseed themselves...
Thank you for liking the dale photo, folks---he's cute, but fresh---Victor, you lost me at "crop"---I'm pathetic with anything techie. Love the sea hollies, & that soft yellow coreopsis---Pat, the Sienna looks nice with the Rozeanne---my gardens are such a mess this year, it's heartbreaking. But I guess I'll go out & weed a little more.
nice shots so far today all!!
Nice shots, WC!
Yes - I read up on Blue Hobbit and will probably order some seeds for the fall.
I'll start a new thread.
