Winter Haven, FL(Zone 9b)

Ok, now i will have to try it!

Portland, TX(Zone 9a)

Yes I'm going to remember that one too and try it. How often? once a month????

Cape Coral, FL(Zone 10a)

I only use vinegar mix on my floor about 4-6 weeks, the rest of the time I use regular cleaner. So I think once a month should be good.

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

I'll be darned...and I already have a 1/2 gallon of vinegar for out door use!

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Yours are already that full and blooming. I have one little flower on mine.

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

I noticed these have 4 or 5 more starting to bloom. The ones in the front haven't started yet.

phughes, I was surprised to find a little bud on my Red Cloak. I gave it a extra helping of super-bloom so that it can hurry up and look like RJ's.

Wonderful pictures.. everyone! I will have to try vinegar on my azaelea it is the only acid loving plant I own I think, but then I never really took the time to find out what likes acid and what doesn't.. My Iochromas are going great guns also and I am babysitting two pods..
another hib for me, it was covered in bugs so I washed it out real good, it is a mango something cajun hib from duponts..

this one was open for me after work today, my black dragon was too, but it had already been sun scorched dang it..

Portland, TX(Zone 9a)

I am having that same problem of sun scorching with my hibbies. I have them on the outside of my patio so they get the morning sun but then by late afternoon, they are in the shade and it still doesn't matter. Sometimes I wonder if part of the problem may be the wind gusts we've been having lately.

What pods are you babysitting Deb? on your iochromas?? I have never seen an iochroma seed pod so if that is what you were referring too, take a picture and post if you get the chance.

My summer vacation is nearing an end . . . back to the grind next Thursday. Ho Hum!!!

I ain't movin' til the eviction notice is on the door.

I haven't paid rent in 7 months. Since no one acutally claims to own this place....

Summer is the same as it was last year, long, hot, tiring.

Joeswife, very pretty hibiscus pictures, I wish that I had bought a few of those Cajun Hibiscus

phughes, I had to move all my hibiscus plants that are in pots to under a Oak tree, where they get morning sun only. I am sorry that your vacation is almost over

Sunshinesw, The Chinese banana is not edible but the flowers will last for several months and they are cold hardy, which makes them keepers.
I had to do a quick read on the Dragon fruit and found, beside good health uses, that they are also delicious.

Hi Dale
LiliMerci, My Brugs. are not doing anything yet

Thumbnail by prita
Buffalo, NY

Hey Rita. Well the Iochroma is only about 3' tall :) the other foot is from the 12" pot it's in. My Brugs are just starting to flush out now. The buds are hanging. I did find two flower's though so I'm hoping the heat wave we're suppose to get doesn't knock off the flowers.

I didn't do too much with the garden's this year Rita. It's been one of those years :)

Desoto, TX(Zone 8a)

Hey, Randy. How about weekend after this. Weekend of the 14th, 15h, 16th,etc.etc. Have baby girl, Erin, again this weekend. Can't wait!!!

Flowering plumie is Hilo Beauty. Boy do they like it hot! They're in full sun and by the afternoon that area can record over 100 deg. with the radiation from the brick wall behind it.
