Nice photo
I have had that rose for several years and it survives much neglect and still blooms.
That is the kind of rose I like.^_^

I agree that zinnias are happy flowers--reminds me of the line in "Youv'e Got Mail" where she says that daisies are such happy flowers. ; ) Thanks for the kind comments. In answer your questions, yes I do love it here and it is like chocolate to me too! I lived on the plains before and never had views of anything but the neighbors or just wide open spaces. I started my garden when we moved here in 2000. It being in the foothills it was the first garden I have had to use a pickax to dig the holes in! Our season is long so the plants have matured nicely in that short time. Maozaomom, we don't have Jap. beetles here so roses are very easy in the dry air. Otherwise I would not have so many of them to be sure! Huggergirl I love flickr. If you choose you can email links to your photos and then have them set where they can download but that sounds like more trouble than just emailing them yourself. I love that I can save my photos online there and the feedback I get from other flickr members. I pay about $25 a year for unlimited storage because I take tons of photos, but you can get a free account and see how you like it. If you do--please let me know so we can be contacts!
