Yay for no humidity!

Lith I see you got a closeup of the Yellow-breasted Chat.

It's even slow in my backyard, but I've been able to capture a few Ruby-throated Hummers at my feeder. I have about 3-4 coming by now, but the male is trying to keep them away.

Thanks for the Chat pics, Linth...they are one of my favorite birds too. Actually a YB CHat was what got me interested in birdwatching to begin with.

Yes, the bird activity has gone down as the temps have gone up. Although we are getting more rain now than normal for July and the temps have moderated somewhat. Can't wait for Fall when, hopefully, the bird activity will increase.

At the garden centre today the staff had put a notice telling people that a bird had built a nest in among the plant displays.

I managed a pic of the chicks. Anyone know what they are? Resin?
