Hi Pixie the splashed coleus is Glory. It does reaally well as cuttings. All he Glory I have in pots was from cuttings this winter.
Its a must on my list of five or six for this year.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Thanks Ge, i'll be buying that one next year!

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

ohhhhh Pixie...... that Jamaica is pretty!

I can't remember if I have introduced the puppy Sam on this thread or not. He's belongs to the owners of the place that I live. He looks absolutely cute and adorable. However, that's just a sherade. I call him the little hellian or little terrer. Even the vet has said "this little guy has a looooot of attitude!" Mainly because he bites and growls at everything! Anyhow.....

Here's Sam looking very cute.

This is him being more normal. At first I thought that he had accidentally tangled the sprinkler with his leash, especially since he was dragging and growling at it, so I untangled him. He promptly walked around the sprinkler and picked up the other end of the leash (entrapping the sprinkler) and started pulling and growling at it again. He'd figured out his own version of tug-of-war with the sprinkler

This is just a coreopsis that I think is pretty. I highly doubt that it's going to live through the winter, but I'm really hoping that I can get it to reseed.

That coriopses is really beautiful
I just transplanted Sweet Dreams. It has a rose center on white petals.
It flopps so much we kept stepping on it when we walked to the cars.
I have hears coriops are chancy thru the winter ,I'll just enjoy it while I can

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

Thanks. I think any of them that aren't yellow are a gamble. Normally I wouldn't get one that I thought wouldn't make it through the winter, but that one was dried out on a sale rack. So, for $2.00 I figured that it was worth a chance.

They actually overwintered in the garden, but this is the first time seeing the yellow one in the 5 yrs I've been here, weird.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Very pretty Jen, and lucky too! I forgot mine last year along with (Dahlianut close you ears) all my dahlias. This spring I dug up the bed to plant new ones and they were all mush!

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Finally getting some free time to drool over everyone's great photos again.

Nice thread opener, Celeste! I have always liked toad lily. And 'Megan,' too. Everything is looking very nice over there.

All your orientals are great, Dyane, Victor, Allison, et al! ..... Mine are close to opening, but not quite there yet. Can't wait.

I like all the strawflowers, too, Allison. I haven't grown those in years. And, all those begonias!

Cranberry cove is awesome .... must be great to see blooming! I am glad to see your RU was a blast, Karen .... I was lurking on some threads of the pics from the event and it looks like you did a bang up job with it!

Your containers are looking great, Jo Ann .... I wish I would have better luck with that, esp. after seeing all your creative combos. I must say, that I have some things growing in pots this year for the first time, but nothing like you have going.

That is a great coreopsis, Shelly!

Here's a shot of my first time ever growing them, dahlia .... Arabian Knight

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

'Polly" is pretty nice too, love those leaves.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Wow Iris thats a nice long bloom time for a DL. My 'Rocky's Eye' gives me over a months worth and so does 'Purple Paw Print'.

Nice Black Dahlia Willi
Wasnt she murdered in Hollywood in the 40's?

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

The orange washed out to yellow in my pic. It blooms longer than anything else in the garden.
