Nicole.. no way! Thise don't look real! Do they winter outside?

Nicole - A DG member shared a leaf with me (it came from her deceased Mother's plant that she had grown for many, many years ... almost like a heirloom from her mom). I've been growing mine for 2 years now and it has finally started showing some growth. No blooms yet, but I hope so eventually. I have heard that the flower smells wonderful. Is that true?

I bring mine in when temp drops below 30. They don't do much in the winter but grows like gangbuster in the summer.

Becky, I had my cuttings for 3 years before I got flowers. They like to be potbound. They do well with some sun although the hot afternoon sun will burn the new younger leaves. I don't do much to them but Bloom Booster will get it to bloom. When the bud first pop out, it is hard to tell if it's a new leaf or a bud, but after a few days, you'll be able to tell it's a bud. Takes about 3 weeks for the bud to form to full size - HUGE!

I've seen people put them in a hanging basket, but I like mine tall, so I tie them to the tomato stake.
