My Love would be a good partner for the McCartney rose.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Thank you Dyane!
Yes it would Victor.

See how dark the stem is....stunning when the yellow flowers bloom.

great picture of the coneflowers Bev!

Pixie.... your daylily collection is amazing and almost exhausting!

Dyane.... I would love the walk to your front door every time. It's lovely.

Bill... That was so nice of you to free that creepy looking snake. That's more than a good deed for a year, in my book that would be a good deed for a lifetime!

Jo Ann... that chocolate cherry dream DL is one of my favorite colors in the garden. Thanks to you and Allison, I missed being here too. My computer is just a real pain in the butt right now and then there's a break in the internet line somewhere and my connection is very spotty. When I do have it, it's exceedingly slow. Right now I can connect, in 20 min.... probably not!

Hi Victor!

I agree, it might be a good idea to admit to sniffing Pandoras Box! lol

That's a good question though. For all you DL fanatics (that's a good thing!), what are some of your favorite or most fragrant DL's? I could use a few more, but I want some interesting ones. Fragrant would be great!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

My smelly ones are not always the interesting ones. LOL

J.I. has a tag but it's a Japanese name that I can not pronounce or spell. I'd go get the tag but it's raining again!

I forget to bend down and smell them. I am probably missing out, but my Stargazer lily is taller than me and smells like heaven. I will have to remember to get down to their level. I just can't get over some of their beauty. BEV

I agree about the fragrance part, but at least it's something to consider. I love the smell of oriental lilies! The few daylilies that I've smelled that were fragrant, smelled like grape juice. I loved it. But, there are some things fragrances that many like that I don't. A perfect example: Tuberoses. I think that they smell a little rancid, but most folks say that they smell great.

That's pretty pensacola!

Thank you both! Careful what you say Ge! i'll be asking for your address and shipping away. I'll keep you in mind when I divide some more if you would like.
I actually have a bunch dug up and some I need to get out to a few people. The rain has put be behind this year.
