My Fourth of July rose is resting! Like the Joseph's Coat, Pixie.---And Katye, like the clem a lot. No plant photos, just one tired Grandma who chased Grant Douglas all day---he finally sat for 1 minute!

My Clivia 'Aztec Gold' has finally bloomed

I think this might be a newer one, as I am not finding ANY photos of it searching google. I do see some places offering it for sale, and one place being the only place to get them .... I got mine on eBay .... with plastic stick stake name tag and all.

Here's a closer shot .... and, then my BRAND NEW batteries died! After only 5 photos! Dagnabbit!! Grrrrrrr!

Anyhoo.

Here is a tighter shot (for now) of my three year old Clivia miniata 'Aztec Gold' flowering.

Gruss au Aachen. B-day gift from irisMA. This was taken yesterday, it's in full bloom today. Didn't think it would bloom this year as I got it this spring.

I love that Clivia. Very pretty contrast with the dark foliage and the pale flower.
