This one isn't one of my favorites, but it's "growing" on me .....

Looks nice when you get up close to it, eh?

Nice pics, everyone!

Jo Anne, your gardens are really coming along nicely.

Noreaster, I love that 'Blue Ivory' hosta! That's another thing to add to my extensive wish list!

I have opuntia, too, Willie, and it is one of my favorites as well. Love your milkweeds! They are also some of my favorites.

Karen

Here is one of my late mother's hybrids that I love. Need to pick a name for it. It has a good sized flower and is quite tall. Will have to write down the specs on it for registration.

NOID DL, one of my favorites, as it just lights up this spot. Really bright!

I like that last one. It really brightens the spot!

Thanks, Jumper! It sure does brighten that spot. It is in open, dappled shade, thereby proving that DL's will do well in those conditions. They get more blooms in full sun, but if you have open shade (not deep shade), they will do fine, and the lighter colored ones will go far towards brightening up that shady bed.

Here is a shrub rose called 'Greetings' that I really like.

One of my favorite hybrids of my late mother's. Haven't picked a name for it yet. Great performer. Usually has lots of flowers open every day.
