The hats are cute but the plant is a pain

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

I have been thinking it is Bonanza, Celeste!

A few others have suggested that, as well.

Hard to say for sure, but I do think it is probably Bonanza.

Now, if I could only ID the other one!

I have no clue about this one.

Nice shots! I like the DF, Will. I'll try to find the lily name, Jo Ann. I know it's from B & B.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Willie, hard to say....'Rosie Meyer', 'Sammy Russell', or "Holly Dancer' come to mind. So does FRANKLY SCARLET which is used often in landscaping.

I am so far behind on all my threads!!! I'm taking a 5 minute break from yard work before I go get some compost. Everyone's blooms are fantastic!! I'm jealous of the hollyhocks, mine got rust and look horrible! I've been trying to keep up with pictures though. Here are a few from my yard.

Really like that Mexican Hat, & those bright DLs----the reds & bright purples glow! Anita, is that a morning glory top left? Very pretty. Here's a DL that opened today---I think it's one of Pixie's.

DyanesG, I like the dwarf Balloon flower Sentimental Blue. Great color and it doesn't fall over in the rain like many others.

I took the liberty to start page 32 ~ http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1011722/

Seems to be pretty sturdy.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Been very busy gardening this past weekend and enjoying the 4th festivities, so have had no time to post anything. Have taken many pics over the weekend, including some today, mostly of DL's. I will post some later tonight, and more another day.

Rama, I don't know what DL you have there. There are over 60,000 registered cultivars of DL's, and I'm only familiar with about 900 or so. A very small amount compared to how many there are. Wish I could help. Have to say there are many that look very similar. The same could be said about hostas, and probably irises as well.

Thanks to all who commented on my pics!

Nice red, white and blue garden, Willie! Yes, I do have more than just DL's, believe it or not!!!!!

Nice DL's, Andy!

Will write more comments later when I can catch up.

My maiden attempt at collage with picasa. The butterfly in it I am told to be sulfur and my mommy hummer picture of whom was taken through the window.

Karen, thanks for looking at my day lily.

Your welcome, Rama. Nice collage. The only thing I don't like about the collages is that it makes the pics so small and you can't see the details. I have posted collages before, but unless I'm going to post as a large file (which is very slow loading for those with dial-up connections), then I would rather post the individual pics. I just make the file smaller, but not so small that it's not much bigger than the thumbnail. I like people to be able to see the picture clearly.

Bill, I don't think I can post all 900 DL's on this thread. Well, maybe I can, over continuous threads, over a period of time. LOL!

Celeste, I love your roses '4th of July' and 'Joseph's Coat'. Are they disease resistant or do they get a lot of blackspot? I also love that 'Kiss Me Kate' Asiatic Lily. That 'Pandora's Box' DL is one I have. Isn't that a nice one?

Dyane, that DL of yours that you listed as 'Moonlit Masquerade' is not that one http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/16860/ . Here is a picture of mine.

Hey guys or gals! Not to spoil your fun - but SOMEBODY already started page 32 since yesterday. (About 6 post up from this one) Don't know why they ended this page early.

Sorry Tex, I started the next page without knowing the 'rules'.
It wont happen again, I assure you.

Rules?

There are rules??

(Since there were "21 post remaining" on this thread, I figured I would use one!)
