Or lend Karen one cylinder? ^_^
Invitation to Fall gathering in SW New Hampshire!
I would take you if Louise's place were flatter and had a WC accessible bathroom! Assuming you could limp up here on 3.5 cylinders .... LOL.
I miss you guys... today I went to work and they cancelled me for 4 hours! what a waist of my time... going there for 4 hrs is not worth it for me... well at least I can check DG... and think about my garden... and what I am going to do tomorrow... yayayyyyyy
I dont want to start a thread for this question and get requests for mailing cuttings all over the place
SO
Would anyone interested in coleus cuttings ,D-mail me?
I have a large variety but dont want to denude my containers and bring a hundred cuttings if only three or four gardeners want them.
This is my" quick scan "list so far
Watermelon (tons of it)
Glory
Electric Lime
Dr.Wu
Fiesta
Jack of Diamonds
Envy (huge plant)
The Boss
Jungle Love

Its not necessary to send a list of what you want, just say your interested.
I will bring extras in case someone changes their mind.

Allison, that would be great if I could get a ride with you, but I can't travel far from home, and my Dad and friend Karen want to come, too. But if my brother can get the car fixed on the weekend of the 12th then I can come in my car, I just can't do any overnights like I wanted to, as I'm already spending too much on the car. After this I'm putting money away in savings for emergencies like this.
Karen
ok just let me know.... I am potting up some of those mums for you as soon as I get some more soil.. I ran out.. hopefully they will make it
Ge. I learned to love coleus... so yes, I would like some cuttings... specially if they are lime green... love it!
thanks
Allison's cuttings got me through last summer! Then the mouse made a house in the pot they were happily overwintering in. Next time they're over-wintering in a hanging planter!!! I ended up buying some from Dale_A_Gardener, so I'm fine, Allison. Plus I am totally unclear whether I am able to come or not...
Sherrie is 4 bails too many for you to deal with?
If anyone is interested in some mint cuttings let me know... I have a variegated one ... and chocolate mint
ok... get me what ever you can... and let me know...LOL
Hi All. We're back online and I hope we have a day like today on the 19th!!! It is just gorgeous today! Hope you are all enjoying a nice holiday weekend!
Reminder: Please add any food/plants you plan to bring on this thread, if you have not already done so:

Thanks!
Louise
Yes, here's hoping for picture perfect weather. This weekend was gorgeous here, too. I got a lot done in the gardens. Could have done more if I hadn't promised to send so many people daylilies (grumble, grumble!).
Karen
guess I am traveling lighter than I thought... no one is speaking up
fingers still crossed for no frosts
yeah I know... I do have the greenhouse worse comes to worse... that should keep them safe.. if it comes down to it
Louise I forgot to tell you I took cuttings of that greek oregano... they are too easy to root btw.. love that plant!!.. I gave some to my mom and she is going nuts ... absolutely loves it
Allison - I'll add the greek oregano to your list! Thanks!! Louise
Yaay, Kassia's coming! Victor, bring your kids! Sam's coming and he'll need someone to play with.
Oh, I'm so glad Sam's coming, Harper. Yes, Victor....please come!!
I really do wish I could be there! I am taking the kids to the Army football game. Looking forward to it. Never been there.
West Point?
Yes - never been there for a football game.
DH has played in a few handball tournaments there, I saw a football game from a distance, but never close up. We haven't been there in awhile, we'll miss you at Louises.
Thanks. I will miss everyone too.
They really do it up. The cadets come out. There is a skydiver who lands on the field. There is an area for the kids to play and get autographs before the game.
Victor - I've been to football games at West Point, and I know you and the boys will really enjoy the game. It's impressive for the kids to see! We will definitely miss you!!! But have a great time!
Thanks. Same for you guys!
Thank you! Let's hope we all have great weather!
I just checked the weekend weather forecast for Saturday here. It is 68 degrees and SUNNY! Yippee! (ok, ok, I know it's early, but it looks good for now!)
nice!!!
lets go with that.
Sorry I will miss you Victor.
Thanks Jo Ann - me too.
How can those cadets compare to us---really, Victor! DH & I went to several football games there---MANY years ago--it was fun, the boys will like it.
Hee hee - true. I'm looking forward to seeing the 'cadettes'!!
NOW it makes sense!! lol
Hee hee. Can't resist a woman in uniform - or out of one! ^_^
ah ,Victor
Oh, Victor is right!
Would each of you please vote either "yes" or "no" for a raffle? Only 2 have expressed any interest so far, and I think we all need to know if that's a go or not!
As you can see, "Lydia", our tractor has been moved into place to serve as the beverage station (we use her bucket to hold the beverage setup.) LOL And this area in front of the wall is where we'll be setting up the chairs. Hank has cleaned out the fireplace and it is now ready for a big cauldron of fresh corn. We both feel so honored that so many of you are coming quite a distance to join us! It should be quite a relaxing day!
