OMG---grew up at the drive ins---we'd pack a car with 6 or 8 of us & have a ball.
Us too and took all five of my kids and a few extra's too. lol
I feel like everyone should get to experience it at least once!

mom & dad used to take us to the drive in as kids too... we had one in jersey city... and when we used to vacation up in lake george
Drive-in movies were big when I was young...always remember the mosquito repellent.
There's one in Mendon, MA that gets great reviews (I've never been to that one), and TV's "Phantom Gourmet" says the food is terrific.

Ughh the bad weather continues... cool, foggy, drizzle and showers... maybe improving by the middle of next week.... If it doesn't rain hard.. I think I'll go work outside anyways.. lol I need to buy me some rain pants!!

I have 18 large containers, the geraniums are mush, the pacopa is slowly dying from the roots up and the thousand bells are not moving at all as are the rest of the petunias etc.etc., only the lawn has no problems. I think we live in the rain forest even the deer must not like it coming into my yard eating the tops of my Casablanca lilies.
trying to remain optimistic here... but it isn't easy... we wait a long time for nice weather it seems..... BRING IT ON!!!!!!
Just had a little shower last night while we were in church but otherwise had a sunny day.

Two whole days without rain---whoopee! It was low to mid 70's---partly cloudy, but dry! Went up to the farm & played with the GKs for about an hour---pushing 3 swings tired me out!

well Randy and I worked our tails off this weekend... and I have to say we were frying out there yesterday
about 1/2 the mulch is done ... got to go get another load to finish up (not counting the spot behind the wall with the gravel)...and all the micro sprinklers and drip lines into some of my baskets are almost done... ran out of drippers for the last post
62 now going up to 82 saying possible thunderstorms later on today

Yep, a glorious day here. Breezy, not as humid, and 80. I just spent a couple hours outside the garage in the shade, polyurethaning some of the drawers for the kitchen project. WOOHOO!!! Anything to help move the project along.
